According to the Denver Post, Clinton Portis (bruised sternum) is expected to play in Week 3 against Oakland. He said he still felt soreness and pain Monday, but less than he expected. "He came in and said, 'Hey, I'm fine, I feel like I'm close to 100 percent, I'll be able to practice Wednesday full speed and take shots on Thursday,"' coach Mike Shanahan said.

Now that's a Man! This is what all players should be about. Hopefully Portis doesn't flame out like TD, but the way this guy runs and his physical makeup, he should blow by TD's records...as long as drew rosenhaus doesn't screw up Portis' head and the relationship between him and the Broncos organization.

Yea, I read the same quotes about Portis. So he is expected to be in the game with the Raiders. I'm a little nervous about this game, but I still believe Denver has it together. The raiders wern't playing their best against the Bengals, and those BEnglas are ridiculous So I'm not sure what will result. But with Portis offensive skills plus our Defensive Line, I think we have that game there. I guess we will have to wait and see.

Seriously, U mean when Plummer blocked Portis on one of his plays... was that the play where Portis made that nice cut back on the Chargers? I don't think it was that one, but I remember Plummer giving Portis a nice D.
