First thread yay, but i want us to draft Mike Hart. Sure he has been injured a lot this year, but the kid is a beast. No doubting it

I would draft him in the 4th round if possible, but not 1st day for a variety of reasons I don't feel like going into right now.

Kiper says he is expected to run in the 4.6+ range....if so, he will drop.

Kiper also carries my jock in the offseason. Take anything you get from Mel Kiper JR.with a shot of penicillin.

as of right now without McFadden declaring for the draft Mike Hart is the number 1 rated HB. but he has late 1st to early second projection on him. this HB classes isnt that strong. so he'll go early.

mike hart is a waste of a pick when we have more pressing need in the earlier rounds like S, DT, LB, OL, Wr/returner, Special teams...........no rb though.

why darft an injury prone rb that we would have to give alot of cash to when we have young who was undrafted and doesnt cost that much already proving he has what it takes in the nfl to suceede for our team?

I would argue with that logic. In some years, like when Steven Jackson was drafted, the top running back falls quite a bit in the draft. I think teams now view running back as a disposable position and feel little to no pressure to draft a runner early, thinking instead they can fill the void in free agency or just draft a runner when the value measures up.

If Hart goes in the 1st round, it will be at the very tail-end.

i feel the same way, im just saying without McFadden he is the number 1 rated tailback. im not saying he goes top 20. theres no way, but between 28 through 50 yes. and people say his injury prone. i dont see it. he hates coming off the field. of course he get nicked up but who would 25+ carries a game. also when the last time you seen him fumble? high school? teams might not take a chance on him in the first but in the second he'll be off the board.

we dont need a RB we have MORE PRESSING NEEDS THAN RB, whether hart is available or isnt............and whether he is injury prone or not it doesnt matter we dont need a RB!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The excalmation points gave us the visual of a guy yelling, pulling his hair, throwing confetti at a retired mime, and shooting a potato gun at neighborhood children. ;)

Seems to me that Mike Hart will start his career in NFL as change of pace/3rd
down back until he can add on some bulk. He does fit the 1 cut and go Denver
scheme though. I just don't see it happening even if Henry is suspended because Denver already has a speed burner in S.Y. Denver needs a bruiser to compliment him.
