For now, I would go with Okam at DT, or an OT, since it's hard to get 10-yr franchise LT's, so Ryan Clady or Sam Baker would be great pix.

I would not mind drafting Kenny Phillips, either...just get an impact player, wherever the pick ends up.

Long way to go...

My prefernce right now is getting a LB depending on the pick. If we can Connor or Rivers I think that would be good.

Kenny Philips is ranked very differently by different people, I am not that big on him right now and I feel that safeties can be had in later rounds.

I would like to get Okam, but I don't see him as a 1rst round pick, he has struggled this year and would probably require some time to learn to play in the pros.

An OT is another good pick, there are several players right now with good value in the range we should be drafting in. I hear the coaches are high on Harris which is good, Pears however needs to continue to improve.

At where we're selecting: Clady or Okam would be fabulous selections.

Slaton and Mendenhall are high up there but no Jonathan Stewart at all??

I have noticed that quite a bit on very recent draft boards. Not sure if Stewart was injured or what. But Stewar is 2nd best back to come out and I would give an arm and a leg betting that Texans target him.

well... the last 320+lbs OT we drafted never worked out for us... and is doing his best to get cut from the Detroit lions...

I really don't see how McFadden can be the top prospect. In the LSU game, on two critical 4th downs in OT, he wasn't even on the field. His backup got two pitches on 4th and about 5. He is an extremely talented player, but if his coach would rather have his backup on...?

I would love to see James Laurinitis play here. Kinda bring back the Bill Romanowski days... He's definately a playmaker for them.

Maybe an OT? but as someone said we haven't had much luck drafting them. but with our pieced together O-line and Tom Nalen getting old... we need someone to base our line around.

Okam or something. A DT is a must... and a safety somewhere. Abdullah just doesnt have the skills.

Are you telling me you would like to see the Broncos continue to employ 280LBers because Foster didn't work out?

As for me, I'll take: Clady, J. Long, Baker, Boone or Oher....Or....Okam, Harvey, Rivers or Phillips.

Don't bother with the "....won't be there when we pick", because none of us know that for sure......

God I hope there are 31 other teams that use this kind of "logic"......

well... I think that former TEs work out good for broncos because they have quick feet, wich Foster never accually had

Maybe Clady or Long do?

The point is, Denver shouldn't give up trying to get BigBoy lineman because Foster didn't work.

And if they can't, maybe it's time for a new system, because this one has it's flaws too. Especially the lack of size and strenght......

yeah, and you do realize that Felix Jones is considered as a great running back as well. He has showen that he can be explosive. He will be a top 10 pick if he decides to stay for his senior year and plays well. He made for a great change of pace and really made LSU look lost on those key plays.

McFadden is player where you know that he will give you 100% on every play and can make things happen when you need them. Much like AD for the Vikings.

Im lobbying for Kenny Phillips or Calais Campbell. Call me UM biased but people are comparing Campbell to Mario Williams plus he was born and raised in Denver. Kenny Phillips is being called a combo of Ed Reed and Sean Taylor (RIP). Either one would help us out alot.

I find it weird how neither Hall, or Abidi from Va Tech were on that list. This draft is DEEP in LBs, so I am keeping my fingers crossed for Phillips. Also, how many DTs have been drafted in the 1st round over the last few years that have been the playmakers they were talked up to be in college? The answer is not many. I am thinking we go with Phillips first, and then pray that Hall or Abidi or Hall is still on the board, then in the later rounds, and throught free agency go for DL. In Bates' system the tackles have to be very big, and their responsiblity is to basically take up space. All these fantasies of getting a Tommie Harris here are not realistic with Bates running the show.

LOL at whoever said Hamza does not have the goods. Had he not been hurt Hamza would have taken Fergusons job a long time ago. He is 6'2, 220lbs, can fly, and is a great open field tackler. It would be nice to see Phillips and Lynch back there though.

Oh, and Campell is also from Colorado. I think this is to premature of a top 32 as they are saying Campell is a top 5 guy. If he slips to us I would LOVE to see him here. He is another Julius Peppers.

Oh, I am not saying McFadden is not unbeilivable at all. On the contrary he has all the tools to succeed and be a stud.

But, I do think that McFadden is a tad bit overated. As I was watching him play, he has an extremely upright running style. He has the build of a WR honestly. I think he is dominating a lot of teams, (such as 300+ yards in one game) because of his sheer speed and atheletism. I am not sure that he will be as amazing as everyone thinks he is.

Yes, Felix Jones is a great player. But why would McFadden not being on the field on the most important play of the game if he is the best player in college football.

But thats just my opinion.

What's all this talk about DE's. Campbell? Jackson? Last time I checked we spent a first and a second last draft on a pair of ends. How about giving them a chance to develop? If Campbell has half a brain, he'll return for his senior season to improve his stock.

Ellis isn't a good fit - we don't need two guys who are the same, we need a bigger, stronger DT in anchor the line.

Kenny Phillips would be a nice addition, but I suspect he goes early since the draft sucks for safeties.

Clady or Baker would be great at OT, much better than the recycled garbage we've been putting out there.

At this point, with a pick hovering around the middle of round one, I say trade back to the end of the first round and get anotehr 2nd rounder out of it. Trade Fox/ tender him a 3rd and get a 3rd round pick that way. This draft has great depth at LB and OT, two positions of need. I say maximize the picks.

I think we trade back in the first to grab Okam at his position of value. If he is gone, grab an LT, who can compete with Pears/Harris on the right side this year, assuming Lepsis is still up to snuff. If he is there, grab an OT in the 2nd. We have to get serious about protecting Cutler.

I say grab a DT and OT with our first two picks. If Okam isn't one of the picks though, then I don't think the value at DT is there. Then grab an OT and BPA of LB and S (which would be LB). Use the depth of this draft by adding some more picks.

Harry Douglas Is The Perfect Slot Receiver/return Man..if We Cant Afford To Resign Stokely Then Douglas Would Be A Perfect Replacement...kiper Has Him As The 3rd Best Senior Wr But I Think Hes The Best..hes A Steve Smith Chad Johnson Type Receiver..short,compact And Fast....always Open,,,hes Very Smart Too....he Woul Be A Steal In The 2nd Round Or Latter And He Would Take Or Offense To A New Level!!

If we can't afford to resign Stokely we're a totally pathetic team both on and off the field. He's not going to be looking for a huge payday, and he's exactly what Cutler needs in a WR right now. Smart route runner, finds the holes in zones... consider him Cutler's "security blanket".

Draftings WRs isn't going to be a quick fix for the offense. The transition from college to the NFL is very tough on receivers - few contribute significantly in their first year. If you want a skill player who can provide immediate impact, then draft a RB... or someone with return skills so they can contribute while they develop as a receiver.

That guy is great, Iam sure the draft list is going to change a ton and I cant see him not being the 2nd back taken, what is his size anyway?

I am terrified that Brian Brohm will go the the Falcons.

You guys got Dumervil and I'm okay with that.

I just couldn't handle my college QB going to Atlanta.

It's a shame he got screwed over this past year for the Heisman.

I'm bitter, what can I say?
