This may be a stupid question but how much cap room do we have this season ( approximately, I know itll change when we sign players off waivers) and what are the implications for our cap at seasons end, i.e. whos big salaries will disappear? Also who accounts for most of our cap space, top 5 is enough.
thanks

This link should have the numbers for the other 31 teams, too......

Has players that aren't even on the team anymore, and I think Cutler makes more than $1,550,000 now.. But I could be wrong!

See that's what I'm thinking too, but it's certainly not uncommon for the Broncos to have dead weight on their cap......

Lepsis is the 9 Million Dollar Man? Hard to believe considering he's getting beaten like a rented mule out there. I think something needs to be done about that foolishness...

Before his injury last year he was one of the top 4 LT's in the game (by FO)
He just isn't the same now... maybe next year... :(

These numbers can't include everything and/or they include bonus that aren't likely to be obtained......

The Fox info is just annual total salary and has nothing to do with cap figure.
I suggest you guys take a look at:
asp.usatoday.com/sports/football/nfl/salaries/teamdetail.aspx?team=9&year=2007
Much more accurate information, and you can look at it starting from 2000.

There seems to be plenty of wiggle room when you look at the cap hits for Rod, Hamlton, Nalen, Rice, and Ekuban. Not sure how many are back for next year (Rice for sure is gone).
Guys like Fergy, Gold, Lepsis, and Lynch are on the bubble as far as production vs Salary.

This is their base salary and doesn't include signing bonus.
Cutler's base salary is low, almost all his money was entailed within the signing bonus.
