Kenny Phillips is an interesting choice. The safety spot is a need bc of Lynch's age but I feel they need help either at OL or DL in a big big big way.

This perplexes me though.

Projected pick: Dan Connor, LB, Penn State
Connor is a bit overrated, but the Giants would be getting a solid value on him at No. 26 overall. Connor moved inside to middle linebacker as a senior but it seems his better fit in the NFL will be at the Will (weakside linebacker) position.

Yes, that analysis is pretty dubious. Connor is probably one of the top SLB prospects, but I think his real position in the NFL is MLB.

There are a million weakside guys in this draft. Keith Rivers being the poster boy - undersized, fast, athletic, good in pursuit. The problem is that so many of them aren't going to be able to play the other LB positions.

If the Giants draft low 1st round, I see them taking a long look at Ali Highsmith.

Todd McShay is worse than Mel Kiper Jr, and that's difficult to do. Granted, he's still light years ahead of us draftniks (maybe), but this mock is horribly bad. I'm glad he put a disclaimer in that it will change many times.

The Denver pick makes sense at least. But his rankings of prospects seems greatly out of whack. As usual at this point.
