i'm wondering if there is a problem with my Xbox
just recently it wont read two games
Assasins Creed and Madden 08
is the the games?
they dont seem very scratched
any suggestions or input is greatly appreciated !!!

Is your xbox still able to play the games? Sometimes my xbox would get a disk error when the game was starting up then it would work again. If thats the case then there is nothing to be worried about. If not then your game is probably scratched to much, I had to return my gears of war to wal mart because i accidently hit my xbox and it got a scratch on it and wouldnt get past the load up...hope that helps :D

You may want to try a disc laser cleaner specifically for the 360. All lasers readers will get dirty from time to time so it may just need something as simple as that. The bigger the game the more it needs to pre-load and dust could be a factor.

Something is wrong with Assasins Creed..my husband had the same problem!

It kept saying..Disc can not be read..

If it goes to a screen saying your xbox cannot read this game and has alot of other languagues under it, you could need a new disc tray or lense, i had that problem and took it in to a game store called game stop and they replaced it for about 60$.

It doesnt look all that scratched but there is 2 or 3 larger ones.
the xbox works fine by the way i tried a bunch of other games

I scratched my Guitar Hero 3 and it wouldn't load so I took it to the local gaming store that I buy everything at (Game Force) and they resurfaced the disc for about 5 bucks and now it works perfectly.
