You're kidding me, right?
He doesnt look like a Butkis winner right now. Looks alot slower than advertised

He doesn't even look like a first round pick tonight. He is getting blown away from the ball, missing tackles, and is being exposed in coverage. Dan Connor is heads and shoulders above this guy.
Maybe a little hyped up because of his dad?

lets not be so fickle to judge a player off 2 quarters of ball, he is the best LB in college

dan conner? comon he is decent but he is way to stiff and not very fast, he looks like a robot, he is a good ball player but not in laurinita's league

Connor is fast enough. We have seen that speed isn't the #1 factor for judging a linebacker....Ian Gold.
Connor is better in coverage and is a sure tackler.

and im PSU fan and am not very fond of OSU, just my opinon but laurinitas seems way more fluent, athletic and more NFL ready then conner, like i said lets not judge on 2 quarter of ball, he isnt playing against texas a&m

Everyone is entitled to a bad game but he needs to pick it up if he wants to be a top 20 pick. These are the games the will make or break your draft stock.

Uhm.........exactly.
He's playing SEC talent, not the scrubs OSU played in Non-Conference or half the Big 10

How can you say that laurinaitis is slow and use it against him but when connor is slow you say it makes him more effective? I dont understand the logic there...

It was proved in the BSC Game that Laurinitis is not a stud and he was exposed for his flaws of being unable to shed block and poor gap responsibility. As well as coverage. He also showed immaturity with the personnal foul.
PLUS hers the key the guy really doesnt have the best of measurables either. THAT ALL ADDS UP TO DRAFT STOCK DEATH

Lauranitis led Ohio State in tackles in the BCS game. Hard to do that on the #1 ranked defense in the country. Yeah they lost but he was all over the field.
