Whether Raiders RB Justin Fargas returns is unknown. He's an unrestricted free agent. Lane Kiffin is on record as wanting Fargas back. Fargas wants to return, based on conversations I had with him toward the end of the season. Bringing Fargas back almost guarantees the Raiders won't draft McFadden ? the top back in the draft ? if he's available. But the Raiders won't break the bank to keep Fargas. If another team wants to throw a lot of money at Fargas, he'd be crazy to pass it up. This situation is cloudy because the Raiders never played Michael Bush. I believe it was one of the biggest mistakes of the 2007 season. -- Sacramento Bee

I think the Raiders would be smart to do what the Vikings did last year, take the stud RB even though it's not their greatest need. However let's hope they don't take McFadden

I don't think Fargas will matter. He's not that good anyways... I'd rather have Selvin Young TBH. :coffee:

McFadden and Bush may become a good tandem in the future should Oakland choose to pick up McFadden.
