I was just reading up on this guy avg 5.3 YAC on the GT Yellowjackets and I know everyone is calling for a running back so what does everyone think of getting this guy he is predicted for middle rounds so maybe 3rd-5th round just curious here.

If the Broncos draft a running back I hope its Rashard Mendenhall from Illinoise. Granted for Broncos the may have to use their #1 pick on him, he is projected to be a high first round draft pick.
Tashard Choice
RB | (5'11", 207, 4.6) | GEORGIA TECH
Scouts Grade: 57
Flags: (D: DURABILITY) Player that can't stay healthy
Strengths: Reads blocks well, doesn't waste motion and gets through holes quickly. Patient, does a nice job of locating cutback lanes and makes sharp cuts behind the line if scrimmage. Runs hard, bounces off arm tackles and flashes the ability to pick up yards after contact. Is quick enough to turn the corner and can make defenders miss when gets into space. Runs adequate routes and has the burst to separate from man coverage. Catches the ball with hands away from frame and doesn't drop many passes should catch. Is smooth turning upfield and can turn a catch underneath into a long gain.
Weaknesses: Struggles to push the pile in short-yardage situations and needs a seam to be an effective between-the-tackles runner. Runs a little too high and is vulnerable to taking some big hits. Lacks breakaway speed and isn't much of a threat to go the distance when gets a seam. Keeps ball tight to frame most of the time but doesn't always cover up when gets into traffic and can put the ball on the ground. Though flashes a mean streak and a powerful punch when asked to help out in pass protection takes poor angles to assignments dives at defenders' feet and appears lost at times. Lacks ideal lower body strength and struggles to anchor when picking up blitz.
Overall: Choice spent the 2004 season backing up Adrian Peterson at Oklahoma. He enrolled at Georgia Tech in 2005 and was immediately eligible to play after the NCAA granted a waiver of the residency requirement. During his next two seasons at Georgia Tech he appeared in 26 games (15 starts) and rushed 414 times for 1,986 yards (4.8 average) and 18 touchdowns. Choice is a poor man's Emmitt Smith. Though he doesn't have elite size, power or speed, he is an efficient runner who reads his blocks well, explodes through holes and consistently makes the first defender miss.
A few things I look at are if the player can last and his 40 time, he lacks in both categories. There are a ton of talented running backs in this years class so finding one with the right intangibles won't be to hard:coffee:

I think he is a good back, he seems to run with a good amount of power. However he is not worth a 2nd round pick and we as of now dont have a third. So if he is there is the 4th or 5th then i think it would be a decent pick.
