Here's a trade proposal that some people probably won't like but I think it could be incredible for us. We should look into trading our 1st to the Falcons for their 3 second roud picks. We would have to throw in a fourth and a fifth probably but this would give us 4 second round picks. We could then take possibly,
Sam Baker at tackle
Andre Caldwell/ Earl Bennett/Ealy Doucet/ Hardy at WR
Pat Simms and or T. Laws/ Balmer/ Dre Moore
C. Johnson/ Rice/ F. Jones maybe at RB all in round 2

We could get some top flight talent in the early 2 rounds and still have plenty of second day picks for depth. Atlanta would possibly do this trade if they are wanting to get Brian Brohm and are afraid a team like Carolina will take him. They could get Dorsey and Brohm and still have many picks for depth too which they also need. If you look at past drafts some of the top players from each draft always come from the top to bottom part of the second round. Cheaper talent too. look at the history seriously. Just an idea to think about since the off-season news is slowing down.

Blanks would shoot someone. That is an absurd trade. The Falcons dumped half their team after the season and signed very few ppl during FA. There is a reason they have those picks and it sure as hell aint to move up to #12 by using all of them.

Alot more common sense and alot less Maddenesque.

They still have the same number of picks with this scenario just move up with oneand down with two of them. I'd even do it for our first and two fourths. It's not Maddenesque, the numbers add up as far as the draft chart goes and if they are enamored with Brohm it couldvery well be that they would like to move up. We may wait till the day of the draft to see if a top 10 DT slides but if we are not excited about taking a OT that high cause the coaching staff likes Harris Pears and Kuper then it's a possibility a trade like this could be discussed. How do you know they wouldn't like to move up under the right scenario? They very well could be thinking that way. On the other hand, they could be hoping to take Henne or Flacco in the second and have no interest in Brohm. I'm just throwing this idea out there for thought but I hardly think it's Maddenesque.
