Vanderbilt OT Chris Williams has been removed from some draft boards due to injury, according to NFL Network's Mike Mayock.
Maybe he'll slide to the Texans at No. 18 after all. Williams reportedly has a "neck and cervix" injury, although it didn't cost him any time in college.
Seems like we may actually pass him up now, well it makes more sense than ever to draft Stewart.

Sounds like deception so that he will fall. The Texans must want him pretty bad.

Well, Stewart has his own injury history... as does Glenn Dorsey. I guess it depends on how serious teams think Williams' injury to be.

this is the problem with most mocks. we'll have denver taking who we want, moreso than who we should take. which can be two different things. and in situations like this, as soon as the slimmest bit of speculation comes out, that's immediate reason to take the guy who you wanted, no questions asked, 100%.
i think drafts have been bombed with gms, just like fans, maybe talking themselves into a need player being better than he is. i mean we have how long? a good few months to sit here and talk ourselves into why our favorite new toy should be a bronco even if we don't quite need him as much as someone else we haven't developed an affinity towards.

I wonder if Denver has any chance at that dude from Virginia? Big athletic olineman that can play both G and T seems pretty enticing, especially in the zone blocking system.

I know this doesn't matter to us now...but a cervix injury?! I thought women weren't eligible for the NFL
