Freshman initiation? Never had that here. Except for the occasional "Move you stupid freshman!"

Meh. :goofy: At least I'll be the one doing that now that I'm a senior. Even though I have been doing that since sophomore year anyways but still it will be a lot more sweet since I own the school now.:hammer:

Nope.

However, Friday was Senior Skip Day and last day of school (we have exams Tues and Weds, and that's it - only like 3 hours of exams per day, less depending on class).

Seniors all go on a bus to a private beach and beach house on the North Shore for the whole day, and school provides everything.

Everyone else (besides incoming freshmen) try to take over new hangout spots.
Juniors play hell on the current freshmen (like me).

Pretty funny cause the teachers had a tent pitched in the middle of the Quad (open campus, college schedule, kind of like a college). Quad is a big green area with hangout spots all around, and the classes are in buildings surrounding the Quad.

That area between like Cooke Hall, Bingham, Alexander, Pauahi, Science Center. Looks small, but it's pretty big. Whole campus is 76 acres.

So yea, tent with teachers pitched in the middle, watching the whole Academy (9-12) area. Some people were throwing water balloons, they got pwnt by the teachers immediately, but not after freshmen got hit. Water, paint, honey, oil, all kinds of stuff in there.
Also some teachers patrol surrounding areas not in line of sight by the tent.

So our grade has Chapel, and there are a bunch of teachers watching routes to the chapel - everyone leaves at different times.

However, when chapel ends - we all stream (400+) out onto this road that leads into the Academy area, straight by the pool (above Middle field). Some teachers are standing on the field watching. Other teachers are escorting us (like a security convoy - pretty nuts). Then out of nowhere, from the cafeteria patio / outside area behind tall bushes, we get bombarded by water balloons.

Pretty exciting, but no one got hit, haha.

And my friend had his bag turtled, it was pretty funny. (Take the bag, take everything out, turn it inside out, put everything back in and zip up).

When I was a freshman, one of the other kids got taped to the flag pole nekkid. Another one got duct taped to a bathroom stall door. Our faculty put a quit stop to that **** though...by the time I was a senior there was no more freshman friday.

I was just recently a freshman....

We don't have those problems. Infact, I hung out with all the upper class men.

Could it be that I was 6'2'' 230 pounds? Yep. But, we did not have a problem.
