Anybody else love anime? I'm asian so I guess I have to like it.

What's your favorite anime? Mine is probably Trigun but then again, I haven't seen much. I'm going to watch so much this summer.. Naruto, Cowboy Bebop, Last Exile, Flame of Recca.. good stuff.

I remember when I used to think DBZ was the greatest thing ever.. :duh:

I sorry to say that I don't watch much. I have Akira, Ghost in the Shell and Princess Mononoke on DVD but only to really round out my movie collection. Anime is a little overated.

I got into anime about two or three years ago. I definitely like it. I have more anime DVDs than regular movies.

My favorite anime has to be X the series. I was a little disappointed with the ending, but the story was so good up to the ending, I can get over it. Yu Yu Hakusho comes in a close second for me.

I just picked up Last Exile yesterday and watched the first three episodes. I like it so far.

I'm still watching Noir, Raxepheon, and Witch Hunter Robin.

To anyone who watches anime: Do you watch it in English or Japanese?

I just saw Trinity Blood, and lemme say, one of the best drawn animes I have ever seen. Story is cool too! :D

I like Ghost in the Shell for its art too, but I'm not fond of the story.

Bleach is something new and FRIGGIN AMAZING! They just begun to show the English version, but if you want a better experience, get the Japanese episdoes with English subtitles. New eps. come out every week (usually). If you want the site to download them, drop me a PM.

I also like Outlaw Star and Full Metal Alchemist, but both are done.

I'm trying to make my own anime, I have a storyline in my head and many characters drawn out. I just need to get a bit better at drawing them, I'm almost there (I suppose I could be ready, but I want mine to be really well drawn). My freetime for drawing has also been on a project with Eldrich recently.

Ugh, I was never a fan of that show. It had some wierd artwork and I didn't like that two of the cyborgs had similar powers. :ugh:

My daughter (now 13) loves anime'. She's starting to grow out of it a bit now, but still enjoys drawing anime----and she is great drawing free-hand. So I've seen anime around for about two years now on nearly a daily basis.

Do I care for it? Not my personal thing, but she enjoys it a lot.

I love anime, can't get enough of it. In fact, I just bought quite a bit the other day. Over 100 episodes of Naruto for 20 dollars.

My favorite anime is either Naruto or Wolf's Rain (Absolutely beautiful story), but I like many others as well. Outlaw Star, Samurai Champloo, Trigun, ect.

Let me preface this by saying I don't watch much in the way of anime.

That being said, I do like some of the stuff out there. Cowboy Bebop is brilliant. It's a great premise, awesome humor, and the fact that it's dubbed on Cartoon Network isn't even that big of a deal because it's done pretty well. I also like Samurai Champloo.

As far as feature length animes go, Record of Lodoss War was probably my favorite, followed by Ghost in the Shell (cyberpunk stuff is sweet) and Ninja Scroll.

Pretty much anything with good action, ninjas, and stuff blowing up is enough to make me happy. :D

That's really cool that she likes to draw it. I wish I could but I have no artistic ability whatsoever. You should post some of her work, if it's alright with her, that is. :thumb:

Itachi is awesome but I want Sasuke to kill him. Either that or Kakashi fight him now that he has the Mangekyo Sharingan as well. Seeing as how Kakashi is my second favorite

I recently got into Fullmetal Alchemist and I absolutely love it, I can't believe that I didn't see it sooner. I haven't finished the series yet but I'm getting closer. Roy is my favorite by far, but I love all the other characters as well.

I like Col. Anderson. LOOK AT THESE MUSCLES! :D

I still have yet to see the movie though.

and to Chaji: Im up to date with Bleach eps. I usually always download the new episode the same day it comes out. I REALLY don't like the English version though. None of the voices really fit like the Japanese version. Instead they just took a bunch of heroic sounding people and put them in.

Still love Bleach though. Watch it if you haven't. I also toyed with Trinity Blood. It was pretty good, but not good enough to keep me hooked I guess. Loved the artwork.

anime is sic depending on what you watch i grew up watching the likes of dragon ball z, robotech. i still like watching anime ovas and series like naruto, blue submarine number 6, outlaw star, and movies such as blood the last vampire, appleseed, jin-roh the wolf brigade, and cowboy bebop the movie and also the series. i do watch a lot.

You can also find it on Youtube, watch the ones in three parts, they usually are in much better quality.

Paranoia Agent used to be on Adult Swim, but I'm not so sure anymore. The guy is coming out with a movie in May called Paprika. It has nothing to do with Paranoia agent, but it looks friggin amazing. :D

Oh, one last thing:

If you do decide to watch Bleach, don't watch the English dubbed version on TV right now.

It is HORRIBLE compared to the subtitled one. The voice actors don't fit the characters at ALL.
