I find it interesting that the Pats didn't pick up John Lynch after the first game.
I wonder how he feels about them now?

I bet Lynch is missing the Broncos right now...especially after seeing how our offense demolish any defense it goes against

I think our D misses John in as much as he was such a good director and made sure all our guys were in place. Not quite as big a loss as Big Al, but still a pretty noticeable difference. Champ and DJ are there but they're not quite as prolific as John was in that area. Webster gets the team fired up (but not always in the right direction...)

The rumors were that after the first game, they would resign him at a much cheaper discount.

Supposedly the idea was that if they resigned him after the first game was played, they would be able to sign him for a cheaper contract than he currently had.

He's probably done with the NFL. I wish we could give him a call though :salute:

He is done and it is no longer a secret.

Thats sucks for him. He's probably feeling like he jumped the gun on walking out on the team. He could have played his role and possibly been a huge help to us and mentoring our young guys.

Not much you can do but wish the guy luck in getting on board somewhere.
