This isnt a list of the obvious star players, this is the list of second tier players at possible positions of need that if anything will free up our high draft picks and go with value rather than need.
Jonanthan Babineaux DT- Babs fits the mold of a penetrator, he doesnt have great bulk and won't be just a body eating up space, but he can get after the QB and would be a nice addition should Robertson's knee start to fail. He had 3 sacks last year and already has one this year, pretty impressive for a DT.
Dante Hall KR/WR- This signing would allow Eddie Royal to focus on becoming a great receiver and not having to worry about return duties.
Channing Crowder MLB- He's young, already has 18 tackles in two games and would sure look better than Webster in the middle. If we feel like we can't get an elite LB where we pick in the first, look for us to make a push for Crowder if the Dolphins dont resign him
Dunta Robinson CB- He's an upgrade over Paymah at any rate, and He could be our next #1 corner when Bailey finally leaves. He would step in immediatley and start next to Bailey while we develop Jack Williams. If Bly cannot cover guys on the outside than why do we still feel like we have a great corner tandem? Robinson, as long as he has fully healed from injury, will put us back into the top corner tandem.
I'll post some more as the season plays out but as of now I think any one of these would be a valuable addition for next year.
