I just wanted to know what you guys think of him as a 2nd or 3rd round pick if he decides to come out. I believe he is a JR. I know there have been lots os posts regarding James Davis but what are your thoughts regarding Coffee. He looks to be a very good back.

Been watching Florida and Alabama? :P

I think he's another Matt Forte. He would be a very good pickup

Yeah thats what I was thinking. He is explosive through the hole and has very quick feet.

I was thinking that EXACT same thing while watching that game. He shows great balance and power. He won't blow you away with speed, but he is a tough player. I would love to have him on our broncs!

Glenn Coffee... Good American name haha. Never seen him play, though he sounds like a beast of a RB.

I'm all for going after him, he reminds me of a young Tiki Barber.

hes kinda small noti very fast . . . people were flipping last year about Johnson who is the same size bbut a hell of a lot faster at the thought of us drafting him

Coffee is 6'2 and 197lbs, he has the frame to add more weight. I don't know what his 40 time is but he does have game speed and a second gear once he gets to the next level. Go to youtube and look at some of his runs this year. Not to knock Ian Johnson but look at the level of competition that he constantly performs against. Playing in the SEC and Big 10 is pretty close to playing against NFL caliber players; everyone is big and fast and has a chance to paly in the NFL on Sunday. I wasn't comparing him to Johnson or anyother back but was rather asking if he woulod be an option in the later rounds if he decides to come out which he probblay won't. The kid is a player who can run inside, outside the tackles, and hit the homerun!

I like Glenn Coffee, he ran hard against Florida. I have no idea where he would be drafted but I wouldn't mind seeing it be us. With a tough inside runner like him on the roster we wouldn't have to rely on Torain to stay healthy or Hillis to take the majority of the carries.

I watched the Florida Alabama game and was really impressed with Mark Ingram. That kid just runs so hard (like Barber). too bad he is only a freshman because he would look good in a broncos uni.

I watch a lot of Ian Johnson, and if he were picked up it would probably be as a late round back, or even a free agent, which would not be bad considering his skill set.

He runs a low 4.5, and has enough power to be a decent 3rd down back. He is around 210 and has a lot of lower body power. Where he really would help out is on special teams. He plays a lot of special teams for BSU and has already blocked two punts, and caused the punter to "shank it on more than one occasion. He is also a very high character guy who is very well spoken, and would be a great locker room addition.
