No Knowshon? How About Le'Sean?

Ok so people are kinda lukewarm on Knowshon and even though he's a great talent who could declare I haven't heard much talk about Le'sean Mccoy.

He may not have ideal NFL size ('5 "11 210) and he may not regularly run between the tackles but he'd be an amazing addition to a backfield that might include Torain or Hillis. He almost looks a little like a tougher Reggie Bush.
If MJD and Sproles can run between the tackles and be everydown backs then so can this guy.

I would be happy with McCoy but prefer Wells or Moreno. If we were to draft McCoy, he would be the featured back. He is far better than anything we currently have.

There are some very intriguing backs that can be had in the 4th round or later.

Tyrell Sutton - great all around back that has had some injuries. Looking at what he did as a freshman shows he high ceiling 1474 yards 16 TDs 44 receptions 396 yards 2 TDs. Never averaged worst than 4.8 ypc in 4 years.

Curtis Brinkley - Really all Syracuse had on offense. Running behind a poor Oline still managed to carry for 5 ypc.

Jeremiah Johnson - Career 6.7 YPC.


Those are three guys I like and think if you combined anyone of them with Hillis, we would have a solid tandem. Having Hillis just lead block would be a waste of talent. As we saw last year, it is possible to grab an outstanding FB in the later rounds.

I like the value of this pick....

As someone that dont want to spend a day 1 pick at the RB position..I would be happy with that pick.
I would try to land both Davis and Foster outside of Day 1 and go that route...

I also like Kory Sheets as a prospect with late round draft value.I dont think he is as dynamic as Tyrell Sutton but offers the same type change of pace potential as a RB...Sutton has great versatility because of what he can bring to the passing and return game...

chris wells is still my number one choice. most people stiff arm to buy an extra five yards, and if your travis henry you can stiff arm a defender for 20 yards downfield just cuz hes short. beanie wells flat out knocks people on their back.

i think moreno is overrated, but i definatly like mccoy or shonn greene if we pick them up a bit later.

While I like Greene alot too and think he could be a TD machine, he'll be 24 and with the short shelf life of RB's these days we wouldn't get as much production out of him as we would a Lesean or a James Davis.

I got to witness the start of Le'sean McCoys start back in High school here in Pa. He is a Tough runner just be wary of a bad ankle and smarts. But it would be cool to see.

McCoy is a freakin stud, you guys would do well to get him, I was kinda hoping the Chargers would get him this year late in round 1 but it doesnt look like he's coming out.
