this is all just speculation, but if mcdaniels end up being our next HC (i really want spagnuolo or even morris over him) do you think we would try and trade for laurence maroney?
i dont think it would take too much (3rd rounder?)
but just wondering what everyone would think of that if it did happen

Injury prone, not that good when healthy, pass....
I'm not sure the Pats would give up on him, yet. Man, Shanahan had a man crush on him, though. Thank god we drafted Jay....

he is injury prone, but he is a very good back...the thing is, i dont think he is being used right in NE...so after i thought about it i'd rather have him if we didnt get mcdaniels

I like the potential trade for Maroney. We could try and offer Bly for Maroney, everyone knows the Patriots secondary is old. They might accept a trade like that, might have to throw in a late round pick. Get the cb from the Raiders (don't feel like spelling his name).

This actually isn't a bad idea. Anyone is better than Bly.
and if we had Asomugha AND Bailey??
We'd still give up 400+ points a year unless the D line is fixed, and we have COMPETENT safeties.
