I read about this early but figured it wasn't really regular forum appropriate. (Especially for me seeing as I am basically on a probation and one slip up could get me banned, I didn't want to risk it)

Funniest part is it's only Larry Flynt (Hustler) and Joe Francis (Girls Gone Wild), two of the most widely distributed and popular porn "franchises" in the world, that are asking for money from the government.

My sentiments exactly. But the porn industry also doesn't need it cause of this "recession", they need it cause there is so much free porn out there and file sharing. "Recession" didn't drop their sales, supply and demand did.

I personally don't see why we are bailing everybody out. I'm a little ignorant on the whole situation, but from what I can gather, we are bailing them out, but they will be going right back to bad business practices, and we will end up in the same situation in the future. Am I right here? I was totally against the wall street bailout, from what I knew anyway. Those loser CEO's still got there HUGE bonuses. CEO's have always had perks like this though. Even in retirement.

I can't recall the year it happened, within the past five I think but an Exxon-Mobile CEO or something of the sorts retired, his retirement package included free health care, a house in Aspen, a house in Florida (I think), there might have been a third house somewhere, $400 million (YES MILLION), use of companies private jet and helicopter and some other smaller but still outrageous perks.
