I agree long way to go yet and a good bit of prospects that can help the defense not named Raji..

I couldn't be happier that Raji's gone (at least hopefully gone) he'll still take at least 2 years to develop and we can develop another guy in the later rounds in the same amount of time. Raji is not going to be a big impact player and right now that's exactly what we need

I was curious since you don't like Raji and Mays is staying who you thought would make an impact?:salute!:

Well now that it appears as though we'll be switching to a 3-4 I think Maualuga could come in and be a tackle machine instantly and a good ILB for years to come as well as an emotional leader on the field. However he doesn't seem to care about fundamentals as much as he likes to hit hard.

For the first round though I think an OLB would make the biggest impact for us. It looks like Suggs won't be leaving Baltimore so on the off chance we end us signing Scott we would probably have our pick of the litter when it comes to 3-4 OLB's. I like Brown converting from DE to come in and be a serious problem for opposing QB's because from what I've seen he's a great athlete with excellent technique as well.

Another guy I like is Clint Sintim, draft day is still a long way off and Sintim could jump way up and by draft day not be much of a reach at 12. He is a pure 3-4 OLB he played it well in college and knows the scheme and would be able to be plugged in as ROLB on day one, no hoping a DE can make the transition to OLB or projecting potential Sintim's stats speak for themselves. He's the best pure 3-4 OLB in the draft and I think by draft day he'll be a fine choice at 12.
