DB Barrett?

Defemsive back David Barrett was released by the Jets. Anyone know if he is worth a shot?

I like him, at least to provide depth. I think he can do a better job than Manuel, Lowry, maybe even McCree. Damn, we even put Rodgers on the field against the Raiders, it won't be very hard to improve our secondary in 2009.

I'd take him as NB depth over Bly and Bell. Good cover-guy that can tackle and pick. At 31, a one year deal is all he'd get.
