There are few things I love in life........... There's my dog, LOST, the warm cozy feeling of not getting out of bed because it's a Saturday, and myself.

But I have added something to my list.

That thing, is Chipotle.

Who else here loves Chipotle?

I love Chipotle.

This is my burrito,

(Chicken, Steak or that shredded beef one forget the name)

You get 2 tortillas, double wrapped. I think this is KEY!!! It really brings a whole new experience to the meal. I really like to bite in hard and munch down, with two tortillas you don't have to be careful. Most of my friends don't like it, but I call it brilliance.

Add fajita veggies for fatness. Then load it up and take it to the house. Count it.

A chipotle regular will recognize this video as one of the most monumental accomplishments of modern day man.

1 man, 4 burritos and one mile. Half an hour.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FL3mM0f_BWA This is worth ten minutes.

I no longer get extra chicken, ever since that one day I said extra, and they put it on. And 30 seconds later they said that it's $2 extra, so I asked them to put some back but it already had sour cream on it -_-

How much are the burritos?

The last time I went to Chipotle I went with a group of my friends because we all had coupons that gave us free burritos because our school did some sort of sponsorship with them.

I remember I got everything on mine and it was the biggest mess ever.

But good.

It's all about the Carnitas burrito, black beans, corn, red sauce, sour cream and cheese...

SOOOOO bad for you but SOOOOOOO tasty... if I hadn't had one yesterday I'd be going there for lunch today.

BTW, for those who were asking about pricing, in New York they recently increased the prices; now a burrito here will cost you around $8.50. But it's worth it. :D

While we're on the subject, what they call "Mexican food" in NYC is terrible. I really, really miss the awesome Mexican food I grew up on in Utah; for New York being the supposed "food capital of the world," it sure doesn't have any decent Mexican food. The best places I've found (and believe me, I've tried tons) are Chipotle and Chevy's! Ugh.

Ive been getting those hot n ready pizzas for the past year. Pretty good deal for 5 bucks. But its completely different from a burrito. It all depends on what you feel like eating at that moment. But it does sound pretty right now though, maybe I can conjure up 5 bucks and get myself a pizza.

Chipotle isn't bad.

It's simple. And pretty decent for a decent price. Most of it's appeal is the size of the burritos.

Sometimes I go with a friend and split one because nobody needs a full burrito.

That said, I don't like tabasco sauce that much.

And I almost always prefer the smaller mom and pop shop. That said, I MUCH prefer Illegal Pete's.

Their Burritos are better, they have better sauces and I'd rather support the local small owned businesses.

They aren't any more expensive either.

Other than that, my family makes the best mexican food.

And I'm a damn good cook.

Screw eating out. I can do it better anyway. (and cheaper)

Went to Chipotle once and was not impressed at all. Guess that is because I live in Central Cali where there is a taco truck on every other corner and in my town there is I think 20 taco shacks on one street that is only 5 miles long at most. This one place serves up 2 inch wide quesadilla, along with a foot long torta both under 5 bucks.

Also saw one poster mention tapatio sauce. That stuff is used on pretty much everything, and has replaced ketchup for me. Have even thrown it in spahgetti before.

Well Chipotle only could of started in two places..... Heaven or Denver.
And I'm pretty sure it wasn't heaven..

So the first one is in Denver.
1644 East Evans, in Denver, Colorado. To be exact..

My pops loves "big burritos". Back when they were still one of Stuff magazine's "best dives in America", my dad would go to Cannons in Allentown PA and get his "big burrito".

The thing looked like a hot pocket in compairison to a Chipotle burrito.

So in 05, while driving back from our yearly golf trip, I introduced him to his first Chipotle burrito. He still talks about it like his first kiss. "That thing was unbelivable". When I moved out here and told him that 16th street had 2 chipotles, 1 Qdoba, and an illegal pete's, his head exploded right there.
