Here's more of a wishful thinking lineup that could make our defense relevant. I went ahead and used our first two draft choices for Maualuga in the first and Ron Brace in the second.

LE: Crowder/Clemons
NT: Brace/Wright
RE: Thomas
OLB: D.J. Williams
ILB: Ray Lewis
ILB: Maualuga
OLB: Dumervil/Moss/Bailey
CB: Bailey
CB: Greer(BUF)
S: Hill (MIA)
S: Barrett/Fox

This would be awesome to have a D like this. And except for the Lewis signing it's actually doable for the Bronx. :td: :logo:

I like it. Ray teaches Rey how to be a football player. Do it.

thats actually pretty good but the d-line seems to be lacking a bit and i dont think Doom could play pass coverage very well and if we had him pass rush every time it wouldnt be very sneaky. so... i had this in mind

RE - Doom & Ekuban
NT - Raji & Cole
LE - Philip Hunt & Crowder
SLB - Moss
MLB - Vilma
ILB - Felder
WLB - Williams
CB - Bailey
CB - Bartell
FS - Sanders
SS - Chung

* - the d-line would be slightly rotational and down-specified plays

While I like it I dont see any way possible Doom Could play an end in the 3-4 He stands a better chance of being an outside LB I agree I wouldn't put him in coverage to often but I watched him play every game at UofL and he sometime would cover the rb from the DE possition so I think he can do it. Definately more likely for him to transition to that than an end in a 3-4 scheme IMO
