Good move, for him and them. He is a MD boy, and he gets the chance to play for his home team...not many get to do that.

He was a class guy here in Denver. I'm happy for him.

he acctually had a good season with the falcons but than agian when you have a decent pass rush your avg cb looks like a probowler aka the Tiants back field thrived with Haynsworth's pressure

Yeah I'm happy for him but I wish he stayed in Hotlanta cause now we might have to face him more often. I hate facing our old good players. Exccept when they go to Chokeland (Lelie, Walker, Warren and Carlisle to name a few.) cuz then it's fun to hate.

Does this mean anything for our draft pick? Or was it only stipulated if the Falcons re-signed him?

I liked Foxworth and was sorry to see him get traded. But now it is clear we probably wouldn't have resigned if he had stayed a Bronco. 4 years $28 mil, $16.5 mil guaranteed seems a bit steep for an average CB. It really makes me wonder what we'll have to shell out to get Bartell, Greer or any other CB.

He'll be an all pro in what seems to be a consistently strong defense. Good for Foxy.
Imagine that - Foxy > McCallister - oh well, put him on the list of really good former Broncos.

Only if the Falcons resigned him did we get a 6th rounder. We just get the 7th now.

So basically we paid them to take him, nice move Shanny!

Well it all depends on who we get with that 7th. ;)

Was dissapointed when we traded him. Was a classy guy, and a pretty good player. Best luck Foxy :salute!:

Yet again showing why Shanahan didn't know a damn thing about defense.

Yes he is a class act and I do wish him the best. But honestly he's soft. I know he's one reason I will look forward to playing the ravens. Throw his way all day.
