With the 12th pick in the draft, who should the broncos get to improve the team. In my opinion we need a good defensive tackle or Linebacker.
What do you guys think?

At this point they might be able to get away with BPA. If not DT followed by OLB.

If BJ Raji is not there i think they will take malcom jenkins. I'd like us to draft tyson jackson, but as someone pointed out in another thread we atleast have the potential to be ok at DE
im not impressed with any of the OLB's and i think moss and dumervil will get the 1st crack at OLB

If Raji falls to us, I think we'll take him at this point.

I agree.....:salute:.....Very solid pick IMO, even tho there are others that think Andra Davis is a good fix at ILB for us.

The coaches might believe that. They gave him a moderately priced contract. It doesn't prevent us from drafting Rey but it makes it less likely IMO. The way I see it, they are more likely to spend their 1st round pick on a position where they haven't spent as much in FA, or not at all. Like DE or OLB. I see Tyson Jackson as the most likely pick, because DE still stands as one of the most glaring needs and Tyson is the best 3-4 DE prospect in the draft. I think BJ Raji would be the pick if he's available, but I don't think he will be. I also think Brian Cushing is pretty likely, because of his versatility to play both inside and outside in different schemes as well as his pass rush ability.

1st Choice: DT B.J. Raji
2nd: OLB Everette Brown - best pure 3-4 OLB in the draft, check out his highlights:

He's extremely quick off the snap, and he's got a pretty wide range of pass rush moves, he also moves well in space and changes direction well. Exactly what we need and who I expect us to draft, assuming the miracle of Raji falling doesn't happen
3rd: CB Malcolm Jenkins - I don't want to convert him to safety, I still think he can be a dominant corner in the NFL
4th: LB Rey Maualuga - still the best ILB for a 3-4 in the draft

If we stay @ 12 we have to look @ best available LB period. Andra Davis is injury prone so Middle LB is not a depth position at this point. As much as I agree that The DL needs the most help, #12 is the wrong spot to take one. The best Defensive Lineman will be gone by 12 (RAJI) and then it's a crap shoot for the rest of the draft, ie.. last year (Dorsey, Long, Ghoulston were not immediately impactful for their clubs) There will still be a stud LB at 12 so that's my choice.
Cushing, Laurinitis, Maualuga, or Matthews.
Laurinitis is my personal preference, but Cushing or Matthews may be the better fit as they play outside.
