Don't know if this is posted already, but ESPN had this guy mocked at 32 to go to steelers, this is pretty impressive:

He's perfect for a team that has their starters in place and has time to develop
him. I think he will be a stud in the league, and I see him as the next Jason
Tuck. He might see his early time at DT, mostly for the pass rush, but given
time and the oppurtunity he will transition to the outside and become a DE.
I also see him as a very capable 3-4 DE, but I'm hoping he goes to a 4-3 team
so we can see him progress as a pass rusher.

ESPN is nuts. He's an athletic freak, sure. But so was Mike Mamula. Gilbert was only moderately successful in college, and most of that was his Senior year. He went to a small school and did not face top competition.
He is receiving WAYYY too much hype for his athleticism and for jumping out of a swimming pool. He reminds me of that near 400 lb DT that could do a back flip a year or two ago, that everyone wanted to draft in the 5th round. That guy went undrafted and then flopped in New Orleans.
Gilbert has done nothing on tape that suggests he's remotely close to a 1st Round prospect. He had a decent Senior Bowl and likely moved himself into the 2nd or 3rd Round from a late round flier.
It only takes one team to fall in love with a guy's athleticism, but I still belive Gilbert is a late, late 2nd rounder or more likely, a mid 3rd round prospect. His actual game tape suggets he's a 5th rounder. I'm already giving him two rounds due to his athleticism and "sexiness" as a pick.

I watched some game tape of his a few days ago and he seems as if he has
what you would look for in a project type player. As long as your team has
their starters in place, I think his athleticism and never ending ceiling make
him a nice pick for the 2nd round.
Now that being said, he was only playing at SJST.
*Oh, and I'm more impressed with his weightlifting youtube video :O

Makes me think of Walter Thomas... I think that was his name. The giant athletic freak of a DT last season. Lasted like 2 minutes in the Saints training camp...
