Denver adds 4 LB's in the draft -Barwin , Sidbury , Brinkley and Francios. This is needed with the switch to a 3-4 Defense.

Denver drafts 4 Defensive Linemen - Brace , Baker , Miller and Mitchell to help solidify the Defensive line.

By trading Dumervil Denver gets Safety Chip Vaughn

By trading Scheffler , Denver gets Jasper Brinkley

I think both of those are good young players and both have very bight NFL futures.

its pretty obvious were not trading dumervil

and jacksonville will take a WR or a tackle with their 1st pick

and wasnt it you who told me jasper brinkley was a horrible choice in the 3rd round, and is a 5th round pick at best?

lmao....nice try, it looks like you put a good 10 minutes of work into this:td:

Jasper Brinkley is rated 4th or 5th Round Player. So a late 3rd is high but this scenario Denver doesn't have a 4th do to trade.

How do you say Dumervil isn't available for trade. Anyone is available for trade. ie : Cutler. McDaniels will give Dumervil a look in camp and see he can't back pedal or cover a RB out of the backfield and trade his butt very soon.

Dumervil is a DE only. Go back and watch the tape on him. Imagine him trying to cover Leon Washington RB NY Jets out of the back field. Come on it would be a Joke.

Heck DJ has problems covering fast RB's out of the backfield.

Dumervil is good as gone. Traded to Buffalo , Cincinatti , Washington , Carolina when they trade Peppers.

Gone.

if they already know they're gonna trade dumervil why would they tell him that he'd be moving to OLB and competing for a starting spot this year?

Mark my words..Chris Baker will go higher than that...

I really like that guy...hope we get him

I don't think we're trading Dumervil, and if we do I doubt we get a 3rd round pick.

Other than that its alright. Not a big fan of Josh Freeman at 12, but its hard to argue if we need a QB.

I think Andre Brown is a huge reach where you have us taking him, and I doubt Chris Baker falls that far.

With as many teams transitioning to a 3-4, and the lack of NTs in this draft, I really don't think he falls past the 4th round.

Freeman = Best QB in the draft and would be scary in our system.

yeah, i dont know enough about him, but i know i would take him over sanchez....theres just something about him i dont like. With the way things are going its looking like a QB might be a real option in the 1st

Freeman has been compared to a young Daunte Cullpepper. Great size, Great Arm and has the mobility to make plays with his feet.

song doesnt fit but the highlights are good.

So many Madden trades...

NY would not trade up to take DHB when Kenny Britt is the samething just a
bit slower and a lot more proven.

I doubt Doom garners a 3rd round pick either.

Oh, and why the hell is Jax. taking Stafford????

I agree on Freeman...Watched him for 3 years play well against the Buffs. Strong arm, good feet, and very athletic for his size...It's too bad Prince never got a team around him at K-State, dude went after WAY TOO MANY JUCo players.

There is a great article about him in the new Sporting News....

I still think short and long term trading Jay Cutler to Detroit for it's 1st(#20) , 2nd and 2010 2nd Round Pick is the smartest move.

Jeff Garcia - is more than capable of playing well enough to get us into the Playoffs. I could argue that we will do as well with Garcia as Cutler!!!

Vonnie Holiday - is still a better player than tyson jackson.

With all the extra picks Denver could extra picks to build our Defense into a Dominate Defense.

Connor Barwin - could be great OLB
Lawerence Sidbury - Huge Potential at OLB.
Jasper Brinkley - could be very solid ILB.
Chip Vaughn - Great Strong Safety.
Keenan Lewis- solid CB.

And Josh Freeman sitting for 1 year could learn McDaniels system!!!
