lol get ready to get flamed by all the browns fans. they think quinn is a god and will never be traded. But in reality this may be a very likely possibility

It's hilarious how all the haters from back then that mocked Quinn are now wanting him so badly on this team when they constantly called him the next Aaron Rodgers/Ryan Leaf.
Hilarious..

I've never done that. After watching the den@cle game I saw Quinn perform at a high level and right now I envy it...a lot
McD turned Cassel into a decent QB just imagine what he could do with Quinn

My post wasn't directed towards you so sorry if it seemed like it.
I'm just saying people laid the heat on Brady when he started dropping after the Miami pick and it's amazing how two faced people are.

i always thought Brady was a little overrated, but the only reason i suggest us going after him (if cutler is gone). is becasue i think he is better than any rookie and would allow us to compete a lot sooner than a rookie would

anyone else notice that Gaffney obviously a McDaniels supporter adressed the issue and praised McD... while all other of the players interviewed just said thats up to them to deal with.

What QB didn't look great against the Broncos' D last year?
I assume you must not have watched the other 2 games Quinn played in or your enthusiasm would certainly waver. A quick summary of his stats reveals:
Quinn vs Denver: 23-35 for 239 yards. 65.7% with 2 TDs and 0 INTs
Quinn vs Buf/Hou (Combined): 22-54 for 279 yards. 41% with 0 TDs and 2 INTs
Quinn rating vs Denver: 104.3
Quinn rating vs BUF: 55.9
Quinn rating vs HOU: 21.3

Dont know if you heard but Quinn broke his index finger on his throwing hand during the Bills game then decided to play the Houston game with it and ended up tearing a ligament in it.... Seems to me index finger injuries on your throwing hand could effect your passing ability. Wasnt sure if you had saw.
ohhh and correction on my part broke and tore the ligament in the Bills game and just made it worse in the Houston game.

Absolutely no.
The only place Quinn deserves to be is:

Expect to see that ^ for a while in Cleveland.

Good, don't want him, if our crappy defence can contain him, how will he fair against a top 10 defence.

i guess its a sad day when fans are proud of "containing" a second year QB for only 105 passer rating....

No thanks, i would rather keep an unhappy Cutler.

Who is, himself, overhyped. An arm doesn't make a good QB. A QB has to have smarts. Fumbling the ball away in key situations (even if some were non-calls) and throwing costly interceptions does not make a good QB. I'd rather have Anderson playing QB in Cleveland (and I hate him) than have Cutler. At least Anderson threw for 29 touchdowns his best year.

We were talking about this in another thread, but a smart, accurate QB without an arm is named Chad Pennington.
...I hear that's going pretty well for him. (sarcasm)

As a matter of fact that is going well for him. He was quarterback on a Dolphins team that improved from 1-15 to the playoffs. As well as being one of the most accurate QB's this season, completing nearly 70% of his passes and a low number of interceptions. For having such ill will towards the guy, he has something that your precious Cutler has never experienced. The Playoffs.

Oh you misunderstand, I have no hatred or illwill towards Pennington.
I just think he throws like a girl.

Well for "throwing like a girl" he sure avoids interceptions and has gotten a lot farther into the playoffs than Cutler has. Heck, Cutler hasn't even been to the playoffs before.

Sorry Broncos fans but Brady Quinn isn't going anywhere. You guys are all talking like you already have him. The Chiefs already tried to get Quinn before they got Cassel, and the Browns said QUINN IS UN-TRADEABLE! (( http://nfl.fanhouse.com/2008/09/21/chiefs-called-browns-about-brady-quinn-trade-browns-said-quinn/ ))....I hear Detroit needs a QB so maybe you guys can start talking about sending Cutler there.
Update — 3/13, 1:12 PM: This is seriously the last update on this particular post. For those still making their way here, we just posted another item, based on some analysis from Barry McBride at the OBR, throws a little water on the fire. The cap ramifications of Jay Cutler for Brady Quinn deal for the Browns would be quite severe, and will likely prevent it from taking place — if it was ever even a legitimate possibility to begin with.

The more is listen to Mark Sanchez , the more I pull for him being a Bronco. He has a very good personality and knows how to talk to the media , unlike Cutler who looks chemically imbalanced while talking to the media.

The hardest thing to figure out is where is he going to fall. Alot of the NFL experts now have him anywhere from 4th-19.

Well...yeah! Who cares if Sanchez is unproven, only played 1 year in college, and most likely will not be ready to start in the NFL. He talks really smooth to the media and the babes seem to like him...
I say we pick him.
