Thanks for the info Shiverman, but W T F, weren't we like the worst defense to ever set foot on a football field? If we draft one Offensive player before round four, I am going to be very disappointed.
^^^^^^^^^
The above statement predicated on my assumption that we keep Cutler. Obviously there are scenarios where we draft a QB early, but if that happens the season is effed anyway.
Sorry to be so negative.

Yes, Wells is a first round pick, he will not slip out of the first round, Denver has to draft defense with its 1st round pick, so im getting the sick feeling that they plan on having multi 1st round picks this year, which means bye bye Cutler?

I hope not, but that is pretty good deductive reasoning on your part. That along with the fact that we worked or are going to work out Curtis Painter, it looks grim.
I honestly don't like Wells that much, I don't think I have ever seen him finish a game. And, as I have stated before, in McD's system you don't really need a stud RB. He likes to utilize different guys with different skill sets in a number of packages. Just my opinion though.

Maybe Jack McDaniels is trading himself to the Lions for a first rounder. They have a big need at village idiot, having fired theirs last year.

I forgot to throw in the fact that Md's a big OSU fan, buckeyes give this dude a boner, the only thing that makes him pitch a tent even more is Matt Cassel in a thong, or telling lies to the phone sex operator about how he never tried to trade Jay Cutler (Whilst thinking about Matt Cassel in a Thong)

Looking at a Running Back in the first round are we McDaniels, god forbid we try to do something to improve the Defensive Side of the Ball.

I guess he's thinking Brian Dawkins is good enough to be our whole defense..:incomplete:

our 6th round pick should be: Jamall Lee, RB, Bishops college canada. 6'1" 225 lbs. and ran a 4.39?!
check out his vid on youtube. hes an up the middle, downhill runner who has great strength and cutback ability and great hands out of the backfield.
he would be what he hoped torain was gonna be last season. please no more injuries!
Pat White? Are you kidding me? That's even dumber than Matt Cassel.
I freaking hate this new coach, man.

He is another Michael Vick, and it did not take long for that to get old. 6'2" at 185 is not big enough. He will go down the first time he gets hit by a big defensive back. Besides, he is not that good when compared to Goergia's QB, or Florida States. McDaniel best not get serious over this. If he does, he needs to be fired because he is setting up the offense to fail.

McDaniel's is not very bright, nor very good. We are going to spend more time watching his mistakes, than the players.

Well I liked Wells, around the time the season ended, when I thought we would still have Cutler.... and we would be accessing the defense A LOT more in Free agency. Honestly right now if you just look at it from a personnel point of view, it is like McDaniels' plan is to "outscore everybody." Well that didn't work with Cutler last year, but maybe it could work with...... Pat White? :(

Guys, calm down.
They are only going in for workouts. Its not like we drafted them yet.
It's not even a date. This is just a friend saying to another friend "hey, that chick is cute. Think I have a chance?" *nudge nudge*
"depends," the friend says, "is she drunk?"
And seriously, whats wrong with offense in the first pick? Denver's offense was ranked 16th overall last season. Lots of room for improvement.
I wouldnt be suprised if they did take a RB in the first. Didnt the Patriots take a RB in the first round a couple of years back? (I know a lot of folks wanted him in Denver. Shanny said he would have taken this RB had Cutler not been on the block at #11)....just cant remember his name.

Just going to throw it out that Pat White was worked out as a WR not a QB. Still... I wasn't aware our offense needed another WR so desperately. What happened to fixing our defense...
