Places Bowlen could trade Jay Cutler:
1. Detroit: 1st, 20th and 33rd pick in the draft. They need a QB and a pass-catching TE, among many other things. I don't think they would be willing to trade away both first round picks, but I think they would trade the #20 pick and the #33 pick.
2. Washington: 13th pick. They need a QB. I think they would be willing to trade the #13 pick for Jay Cutler.
3. Cleveland: The Browns have the fifth pick in the first and second rounds, as well as the #50 pick. I think they might be willing to part with the fifth pick, or Brady Quinn and the #37 pick, for Jay Cutler.
4. New York Jets: 17th pick in the first round. Not much after that. I think they would be willing to trade the 17th pick, plus a player, for Jay Cutler.
5. Chicago: Da Bears have the #18 and #49 picks. They would be willing to trade #18 plus a player for Jay Cutler. The only players we would really need from them would be a DE, a RB or a strongside LB.
6. San Francisco: #10 and #43 pick. The 49ers would probably be willing to trade the #10 pick.
7. Tampa Bay: #19 pick. I think the Bucs would be willing to trade the #19 pick as well as a 2nd or 3rd round pick for Cutler.
8. San Diego: It hasn't hit the press yet, but Norv Turner apparently twittered Alex Spanos, "I know Philip is a great quarterback, but I just can't take too much more of him either." A straight-up trade -- Rivers for Cutler -- is in the works.
9. E-Bay: The team wouldn't get much, but Pat Bowlen feels he could recoup some of what he's paying Mike Shanahan and have a few bucks left over for lunch at Sizzler.
