I'm sure we've all read the FoxSports interview highlights in which Cutler said things like (Wednesday Night):

"I was surprised they decided to trade me this soon"
"I didn't want to get traded. This wasn't me. (The Broncos) had been going back and forth saying things, wanting me to be their quarterback and then they didn't."
"I really didn't want this. I love Denver. I really like my teammates. I didn't want it to get this far."

Anyone think there is a chance McD calls him out on this or Bowlen calls him out on this? Says fine, you wanna stay, be the quarterback? I don't know what to think about the whole situation now... I don't even know who to blame anymore... but if Cutler is traded I don't think anyone wins. I think we hurt from it and I think Jay hurts from it (his bank account will grow which I'm surprised no one has really talked about... and Bus Cook hasn't caught enough flack from this whole situation because he really is the devil on Cutler's shoulder).

I'd kinda like him to stay around... I mean it actually coming to this is kinda surreal... I never really felt like it would from the day this story broke.

If he said this then this just confirms that Cook is pulling all the strings here. If Jay doesn't wanna leave he doesn't have to but Cook is pushing and manipulating him to get a trade.

http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/9403016/Cutler-speaks:-'I-didn't-want-to-get-traded'after the owner has made it public that they are seeking to trade him, it seems irreparable

i think it would be far worse to now keep him after going public

but maybe they'll fire the HC, i think that's the only way jay won't totally collapse mentally

players have fired their agents for alot less

As jcdavey said, I could potentially see Cutler firing Bus Cook. But if he was going to, I think he'd have done so already and already directly gotten to Denver to talk to the team.

That's from my perspective which of course, means about squat because I'm sure there's so much going on behind the scenes that we're not even talking about the genuine situation here.

But that appears from the outside looking in and with the scant knowledge we've gotten to be the only way out from any of the involved parties.

And like jcdavey said, if Cutler was going to do that, he'd have probably done so already.
