Denver trades Tony Scheffler + 3rd Round Pick(84) to Buffalo for the 2nd Round Pick.
I have always liked Scheffler but if he isn't going to be a big part of the Offense then we should get some value back for him!!!
Denver's Draft
1st Round Pick---------------------------Bj Raji 6'2" 333lbs NT Boston College.
1st Round Pick---------------------------Rey Maualuga 6'2" 249lbs ILB USC
2nd Round Pick(Buffalo)-----------------Sean Smith 6'4" 210lbs CB Utah
2nd Round Pick--------------------------Lawerence Sidbury 6'3" 266lbs OLB Richmond.
3rd Round Pick--------------------------Fili Moala 6'4" 305lbs DE USC
4th Round Pick--------------------------Austin Collie 6'1" 200lbs WR BYU
5th Round Pick--------------------------Antonio Appleby 6'4" 245lbs Virginia
6th Round Pick--------------------------Zack Potter DE Nebraska 6'7" 279lbs
7th Round Pick--------------------------Gatrell Johnson RB Colorado St.
7th Round Pick--------------------------Robert Brewster T Ball St
By trading Scheffler to Buffalo , Denver could draft another IMPACT Player in the 2nd Round like any of these players.
1. Sean Smith CB

Wait....didnt you say like a week ago that we could get a 2nd for Tony by himself....lol you change your mind like every other day.
I would actually really like that draft though...and that trade probably isnt too far off of scheffler's value.

If you check the value of our 3rd Round Pick #84 = 170.
The Bills pick is worth = 480 points
Which leaves 480-170= 310( which is a late 2nd round value)
I think this is a win-win. Buffalo gets a TE who could start right away and Denver gets to draft a Impact Player that they need.
Sean Smith would be a Great Player for Denver.

were not getting brady quinn, shaun rogers, or any draft picks from cleveland.
The Browns do not need a tight end:coffee:

I'm not a fan of the value chart so much...
To me, Scheff and a 3rd for a 2nd just doesn't work out right for me.

I can see your point but it allows Denver from go from a Ashley Allen at CB to Sean Smith.
If Scheffler isn't in McDaniels plan on offense then I want a player like Sean Smith or Jarron Gilbert.

Yeah the value chart is definitely skewed.
And I don't see Sidbury becoming a good rush backer. When I watch him the way he plays just (to me) doesn't feel rush linebacker ish.

Don't make any more mocks, I actually like this one. It would be tight if we could just trade Sceffler for Buffalo's 2nd rounder, but that's probably not going to happen.

I'd rather see what sort of pick we can get for Scheffler by himself... assuming we HAVE to trade him. The more the merrier.
Then, if we have someone to target, I suppose we could always package said picks.

Is it because he had 11.5 Sacks and is Bigger and Faster(4.53 Forty) than Larry English(4.82)
Mel Kiper said he might end up being the best defensive player in the draft.

I agree. I don't see how Denver could get a better Defensive Draft.

I think too many of my fellow donkey fans are way over estimating Scheffler's value. He cant block, and he cant stay healthy. I like Tony alot, but a TE in this league needs to stay on the field.
We can rationalize and make excuses for Scheff, but other teams will use anything they can to knock down his value. I would be thrilled if Denver got a 3rd rounder for him.
If we had an offense that would use the TE like Indy does that would be a different story. But since McD apparently has no use for him, lets take what we can get and move on.

Oh well hell, since Kiper said it lets pick him up!
And sure he's faster, he had 11.5 sacks, but I don't see him converting to an OLB very well.

Heck Kellen Winslow was traded for a 2nd and 5th Round Pick and he is a nightmare player who blew up his knee on a motorcycle.
I think you underestimate Tony Scheffler's value.

I think people are overestimating his value.
I'd say he's worth a 4th. Anything higher would be a good deal for us.

Wow.
Are you really saying we should get anything close to what Cleveland got fo Winslow? There is absolutley no comparrison between the two. If there were, teams would be tripping over themselves to give Denver a 2nd.

Haha.
Congratulations to the poster that created this thread. I've never seen anybody make so many threads in my entire life! The bold is very annoying.
