every one is an expert.shut up and relax.if you all knew anything you might be a coach,gm,or a scout.we dont know and we have to wait and see these pics mght be awesome.i was surprised when we didnt take orakpo but for you guys crying about malaluga he isnt a super star lb.maybe somday but not yet so relax.hes not good in passing downs hes a run stopper. hes a 2 down player and over prussues big time looking for the big hits.i live out close to southern califonia and watch the games trust me.lets face it we need guys in the secondary and thats a tough spot to draft for you have to take extra guys to get it right.as far as the tight end...i agree i dont get it but im not a gm so maybe im missing somthing,
feel a lot of people forget that our offensive scheme is not going to be the same next year. Quin is basicly an extra tackle who might get a catch now and then. Now we have two of those guys on the team. This sceme does not use a pass catching tight end it uses blocking tight ends in three and four reciever sets. Just my justification , Im with you i am waiting to see how these guys turn out an am keeping anm open mind because we really dont know whatr to expect next year on O or D. We have two completely different schemes and totally new personel minds picking players. It can really be hard to rap your mind around such vast change.

Oh, just bugger it! :coffee:
Forget the picks. You can make a case for all the players they chose.
Nobody will know until a year or two from now whether they made good decisions.
But, to trade your #1 pick next year for a 2nd rounder when that pick is virtually certain to be a top 10 and probably a top 5 pick?
That just goes beyond horrible! :brick:

Hey Einstein...it does not take an "expert" to figure out that the Broncos' defense is total crap. They had SIX -- count them -- SIX chances to get a pass rusher and that fool McDaniels crapped it all away. Cutler and Shanny are laughing it up.

I agree, its not about the picks, its more about trading up to take guys that would have been available later anyway.

Uh, Maualuga was an All American & Bednarik Award winner. I'd say that's about as big a "star" as you can be going in to the NFL. Passing up on him after giving a first round pick for a guy that would more than likely have still been on the board at 48 was STUPID. I also love the "he's a 2 down player" bullshat. That interception return against Ohio State & him leading USC in pass deflections over his career shows he can drop in to coverage adequately. If they didn't want to draft him fine, but what they did put us in the same ballpark as the Raiders today.
2 NFL KIDS looked like amateurs today. Plain and simple.
