So what are you're predictions for this fight card. Here's mine.
BJ Penn vs Kenny Florian

I just can't see how Kenflo can beat him bjs skills are just so good, and at 155 I just can't see him getting beat. Penn by tko 3rd round.

Forrest Griffen vs Anderson Silva

As much as I wasn't Forrest to win. I just can't see it happening. I see The spider finishing it in the clinch 2nd round with some knees.

Amir Sadollah vs Johnny Hendricks

Hendricks more experience.

Ill give the rest of my predictions later on, I gtta run

Kendall Grove vs Ricardo Almieda

Grove seems to get k.oed a lot. And almieda has k.o power I see a k.o in 2nd rd.

Kurt Pelligrino vs Josh Neer

Don't know to much aabout Peligrino but I like Neer so ill pick Neer by split decision.

BJ Penn vs Kenny Florian (Lightweight Championship)

This one is pretty tough for me to call. There are a lot of variables to think about when trying to predict an outcome. How is Penn going to rebound from being dominated? I really think that GSP broke his will in that fight and I don't know if he's fully recovered from that. Kenflo is going to come in ready for a fight and if BJ's head isn't in the right place then it could spell disaster for him. Still, if Penn is ready and conditioned, he's the most dangerous lightweight in the world. My heart says Kenflo by UD, but my head says BJ Penn third round TKO.

Anderson 'The Spider' Silva vs Forrest Griffin

Pretty interesting match up and I think it'll say a lot about both fighters by the end of it. While Anderson Silva's last two outings may not have been the exciting performances we've come to expect, make no mistake that he's still as deadly as ever. Forrest Griffin is a live underdog and will have the strength and size advantage. Griffin has also evolved a lot as a fighter, he isn't going to just get into a mindless brawl, he'll come in with a good gameplan. I've learned not to bet against Forrest...I'll take him by unanimous decision.

Amir Sadollah vs Johny Hendricks

I don't know tons about Hendricks but Amir is one of my favorite fighters to have come out of TUF. This'll be his first fight at 170 after a long lay off due to injuries. I'll take Amir by second round sub.

Kendall Grove vs Ricardo Almeida

I'm going to try and remain as objective as possible but I'll go ahead and say that Kendall Grove comes off as a giant ******bag from everything I've seen him in. Maybe he's not, just saying, I personally don't care for him. Almeida is an ace on the ground and he should definitely have the advantage there. Grove will have a considerable reach advantage though and if he keeps the fight standing he'll have a good shot at winning. Almeida by third round sub (armbar)

Josh Neer vs Kurt Pellegrino

Not overly excited about this fight but I think both of them will bring it in the octagon. I've always thought of Neer and Pellegrino as second tier fighters, not to take anything away from them. I think Neer will take it by KO in the later rounds

BJ Penn > Kenny Florian by being able good enough to not let Ken Flo leg kick
him then run around the ring like a lil girl, then repeat. Honestly, I just don't
think Kenny has anything to offer Penn. His jits is top class, as is Penn's. He
is a good technical stiker, but he signs a death sentence if he stands with Penn.
The only way I see him winning the fight is if he cuts Penn bad enough, and BJ
has zero history of being a bleeder.

Anderson 'The Spider' Silva > Forrest Griffin by being better at everything Griffin
is good at. Griffin's only chance will be to take Silva down, and even then we've
seen Silva overcome Hendo and Lutter who tried that.

Amir Sadollah > Johny Hendricks by decision because Joe Silva decided to hand
a Amir an easy fight to hype him up.

Kendall Grove > Ricardo Almeida. Grove has looked very solid in his last two
fights, and easily has the stand up edge. He will be able to defend off takedowns
and win by TKO in the 3rd.

Josh Neer > Kurt Pellegrino tough one to call, but Neer takes it by being a gamer
and wins a grueling decision.

Wow... Ive never seen one before. I understand needing to cut wieght an dall.. but most of the fighters looked drained.

ANd Anderson? He looked relieved to make the 205. Was he acting? I wonder what he walks around at?

Weight cutting is probably one of the hardest things about fighting. Seriously, it makes you miserable, especially watching people around you eating when you're trying to drop ten pounds before weight in.

And Anderson said in an interview from awhile back that he walks around at 215, not sure if hewas exaggerating or not, that'd be a steep cut to 185. Forrest walks around at 225-230.

Ive never fought/competed at a high level, so outside of high school wrestling, I've never had to do the cutting. But man... what a miserable thing to do.

Is there any benefit to walking around at 215 for Anderson or 225- 235 for Forest? I remember when I wrestled I was content to be where I needed to be at all times. But then... that was below amateur and nothing mattered other then girls. ;)

I think that's just their natural weight and I can agree seeing that I wrestled that it's tough to cut weight and I can't even imagine cutting that much when I only had to worry about maybe 5 pounds at the most.

I'm still in shock. I knew going in that Anderson Silva had a lot more ways to win but I figured that Forrest was going to be game like usual.

Knocked out by a jab? That's tough to swallow, and I don't know where he goes from here. Silva looked like he could have knocked him out in his sleep.

This has been a severely disappointing UFC man and that Griffin fight just puzzles me to death.

Ugh.

The Batman vs Dentist fight was the best so far.

Apparently Forrest broke his jaw in that fight and also lost hearing in his right ear.

That could explain things.

I'm disappointed in Forest, but Silva is a great fighter.

On the highlight I saw, it looked like a teenager fighting his dad. Silva just toyed with him, let him swing then showed him who was boss.

But congrats to BJ, all of my friends thought he was going to get whooped except me. :smug:

No, reports from his camp say he didn't break his jaw. He got "emotional" kinda like after his Jardine fight.

Either way.... I'm very disappointed in Forrest. He is/was one of my favorite fighters. To lose is one thing... to lose in te fashion he did and then run out like that??

I really hope to hear from him in the coming days as to what happened and why he ran.
