He's valued pretty low, so although his stats will be down he's still a deal. I've really been going for Olsen and Forte tho. :heh:

I'd been tempted to draft Moreno, but I'm afraid guys like Hillis will vulture his touchdowns.

me too, last year I drafted tom brady and carson palmer, bot got injured and never played

now I drafted jay cutler and phillip rivers just in cas:devil:

Good lord no. That would be a catostrphic mistake.

I only see him throwing about 15 tds and around 25ints.

I did draft turner in the 1st, portis in the 2nd, marshall in the 3rd, royal in the 4th orton in the 5th, and moreno in the 6th. :cheers:

I actually didn't sink that low and throw away my pride by drafting Jay.

But I did grab our boy Kyle Orton. Also tried to get Knowshon but he got taken right before me.:sad:

My team is pretty bad, but whatever. I did draft Royal right in front of a guy who said he was going to take him next. I said "Uhmm, no" and took Royal right before the guy picks. He started cursing at me, I thought it was pretty funny.

Well...I drafted Marshall, unfortunately I couldn't get Royal I really wanted him. My QB is Peyton Manning haha.

I did pick up Buckhalter+Hillis in FA tho. Since I don't expect Knowshon to start week 1.

Olsen's a great pick this year. He has a good chance to catapult in to the top tier and will most likely be available after people start taking the Gates', Wittens, Clarks, Cooleys, etc.

i'd stay away from cutler just because it seems like he's going to a system that isn't going to force the pass, and with O talent, and a ton of attempts he only got 25 tds last year

if i'm drafting qb it's brees warner peyton, guys who you know are likely to put up yards + tds

Yep, and the fantasy gurus have realized that too. If Jay was still here I'm guessing he would've easily been in the Top 5 for fantasy QB projections, but as a Bear he's barely cracking the Top 10 on many lists. I'd still take him as my #2 QB or even my #1 if all the good ones were gone by the time I picked... but I wouldn't be exactly thrilled about it.

Of course, Rivers is a great QB, top 3-4 easily, Cutler? Not so much. .

i'd draft one of the guys i mentioned above him too, cause LT is going to take some of those stats away from rivers if LT stays healthy

I confess that I drafted Forte, Urlacher and Bennett (for my bench).

I did not draft any Broncos although I targeted Knowshon, but he got drafted a few slots before me. I am keeping an eye on Ayers.

I am telling you guys now if you drafted Cutler in the late rounds you got a STEAL. He's going to throw over 25 TDs. Grossman threw for 23 in 06 and Bears QBs threw for 21 last year. Just because he's switching teams doesn't mean his production will automatically go down. There is a reason why you see all these major sports sites suddenly praising the Bears (these gus went to watch the Bears in camp btw). Cutler is who he is, a good QB who will get his receivers the ball.

Also, if you have a chance to get Greg Olsen, you are insane not to pick him up if he's dropped in the draft. He is was named the #1 TE and is being used all over the field. He hauled in a Cutler laser one handed yesterday and has been making diving, leaping, and one handed catches all over the field. He is a stud.

Hell yeah I drafted Cutler..He was not my first QB, but I figured he would still be around and I could not ask for a better backup for McNabb.

With an ever improving Hester, Olsen and Forte, Cutler would end up with 3700 yards this year, which would be great for fantasy points overall.

i didn't draft cutler...but i did draft the chargers DST....but then i couldn't live with the guilt and ended up dropping them in favor of the broncos DST :D

I'll confess that not only am I willing to draft Cutler but I love his value since he's ranked low right now.

On top of that, I'll confess that I won't be drafting Orton. I don't hate Orton and I don't think he'll be a total failure or anything like that. I just don't think he'll put up good enough numbers to warrant a QB position on my team.

While we're at it, I guess I would think about taking Rivers for the first time (I wouldn't have even thought about it in years past). I don't think I'll have him on any of my teams though, because someone will end up taking him earlier than I would.

I don't have any problem taking Gates or LT since they are some of the best at their positions. I might even take SD's defense.

When it comes to Fantasy Football, I draft with my Fantasy Football heart, rather than with my Bronco's heart.
