10-man league, i'm the commish. We're doing .5 points per reception. I got the #1 pick and almost passed on AP for Mojo, but I couldn't pull the trigger haha. How do I look
QB - Palmer (I was able to wait and pick him up in the 9th round which I think is awesome because I think he'll have a great bounce back year)
WR1 - Steve Smith
WR2 - TJ Housh (should get a lot of catches and goal line action)
WR3 - Eddie Royal (almost a lock for 100 receptions, hopefully can use explosiveness to crack 1,000 yds and 7-8 TD's
RB1 - Adrian Peterson (2000 yd season comin up)
RB2 - Steve Slaton (got him with the last pick in the 2nd round, couldn't believe he lasted. People were drafting QB's and passing up on guys like Westbrook, LT and Slaton)
TE - Antonio Gates
Flex - undecided (look at my bench)
K - Nate Kaeding
DEF/ST - Chicago
Bench:
RB's: Knowshon Moreno, Ray Rice, LeSean McCoy, Larry Johnson (I can't decide who to play in my flex for week 1. I'm leaning towards ray rice since he plays the chiefs that week). I'm confident atleast 1 of these 4 backs will emerge as a very solid flex play. And more than likely, several of them will. Giving me valuable trade bait.
WR's: Tedd Ginn, Jeremy Maclin. (This is the one hole I see in my team. Backup WR's are thin. Maclin is unproven but I think he could be good with McNabb
QB: Hasselbeck. I almost didn't draft a backup QB but Carson is banged up right now and I don't fully trust his knee. Hasselbeck has looked great in pre-season and I couldn't turn him down in the next-to-last round. He could start for me week 1 if Palmer isn't ready.
Anyways, what do you think of my team? See any glaring holes? Who do you think is my best option at flex?
