How are you doing on your franchises? What studs and duds have you gotten? Whats your record? How many championships did you do?

I finished my first season on ESPN

I did a couple of transactions:
Signed Orande Gadsden
Traded Mike Anderson for cap space
Got Kellen Winslow II
Traded Kenoy Kennedy and a 4th round pick for Sean Taylor
Signed Travis Minor

Drafted a few guys...
A QB out of Tennessee who has an overall 66
A few other guys but their not to good.

Won the superbowl to the Eagles
Beat the Colts in the Division Champ.
Beat the Pats in the AFC Champ.
Went 14-4.

Plummer won the MVP and Griffin won the rushing title
Griffin, Plummer, Smith, Lelie, Nalen, Wilson, and Champ went to the pro bowl.

That's about it...

In madden 05 i traded john mobley and someone else to the bucs and got Derrick Brooks. I signed chad eaton. During the first 2 or 3 games Hearst was pissed and so was hayward because they werent starting so I traded both of them to the rams and i got Steven Jackson and another DE and a backup OLB. I am 5-0.

Plummer has over 6,000 yards and 65 touchdowns.

Bell has rushed for almost 3,000.

Lelie, Smith and Watts are each over 1,200 yards and 15 TD's a piece.

DJ Williams has about 50 sacks, and 85 tackles, a few interceptions and a lot of forced fumbles.

Yeah, I own.

Care to see screenshots?

I see that you like playing a more realistic season.

ESPN:

8-0 right now... Plummer out for 3 more weeks with a hyper extended elbow. Kannell in but he got picked out 6 times against the Falcons of all teams. Anderson has over 1000 yds and lead the leahue but as a fullback. Hearst has about 480 yards. Lelei is my leading receiver, but Watts is doing Ok also.

DJ Williams and Fatafei are tearing up the Sack charts and Champ just got his 5 int.

I never trade for players in the first season of franchise mode, I wouldnt go and get a star as I think thats unrealistic..

Whoever the guy is that has 3000 yards rushing and 6000 yards passing must be getting bored..

Im still waiting for Madden 05 to get released here in the UK.

I won my first superbowl to the bucs and now i am in my 11th game of my 2nd season. I traded steven jackson, lenn walls, and 2nd pick for patrick surtain. And i barely have any ints with bailey because nobody EVER throws near his way. One game i was playin indy, Harrison caught one pass. I havent re-signed chamberlain and brandon yet but they are both on on their last year on their contract. I havent resigned because chamberlain is probably retire and lynch will also retire maybe so i am gonna cut brandon to free up even more cap space so i can get an even better saftey.

I think some of you could up the difficulty.I hadn't played M2004 since Feb. and the first game I played on M2005 at the pro level and won by 18.Here are some "tips" for the entire Madden franchise (probabley work inESPN too).To get more Madden points, set it to all-madden but under the game settings menu jack up all your skills and lower all the COMP's skills (I forget exactley what they call them, not skills but mabey prefrances?).In the franchise mode to do well in the draft:before starting the franchise mode, trade to your team a bunch of stars (1 per team)(if you want to play with the Scap don't go over it),start thefranchise. Now trade the players back to there teams (or any team) for 1st Rnd picks ( just don't give any body M.vick or trade in your own division).BTW you can't do the draft, reload from before the draft and do it again knowing who's good because the computer randomley recreates the draftees every time. One last hint for Franchises, before starting franchise mode, create a very weak player and sighn him to the team your going to use,now edit that player into a star,he'll have the skills but not the salary, you can create a all 99 team for about 11 mill.Note that this will only work for 7 years since you can only sighn players for that long, but you could trade them all in the 7th year for draft picks mabey keeping your "M.vickX2"and Deonsthe2nd-5th (CB and KR are important).:coffee:

You actually can't do that in ESPN with created players since you can't edit ratings after starting a franchise. Although I never checked to see if non-created players contracts change after chaning their ratings. I know they did in 2K4 and I'm sure they do in 2K5.

I'm still rebuilding, as you can see, I saw Jake getting old so I got rid of him... My goal next year is to get a DL, and also work on the OL cuz thats getting a little shakey... In about 2-3 years I will start scouting ILBs and another shutdown corner because Champ and Al will be getting older and their contracts will be running out, hopefully I will have the cap to resign them.

Holy Crap, in Madden Tatum Bell's attributes go up so fast he started at 74 and I'm in the divisional playoffs and he is now an 89 overall, he set the record for most rushing yards in a season with over 2100
