another madden question

how do you train a player you drafted for a different position, or just any player on your team? i am pretty sure it said you could take a receiver who was a good athlete and turn him into a DB, i just dont know how

You have to draft them and sign them, then go into edit player, information and change his position... you should be able to train him in the area you need during training camp before pre-season....

it doesnt give me the option to change his position, you know some things are highlighted to where you can change them and somethings arent and postion is one of them that isnt

Just go into your depth chart and set him at whatever position you want. You should be able to put him anywere on the field. this works real well with created players to in fran mode. Set a kick at real low kicking but high at whatever else you want than you can sign him for next to nothing and start him at say o-line if you need help there and save good money under the cap!!
