Portis a Punk?!?!

I was excited when I got to pick up Clinton Portis on draft day. My absolute number one pick and I couldn't believe that I got him. The first week he showed me that it was a great pick like I knew it would be.

WHAT HAPPENED??? Second game of the year he doesn't finish the second quarter or the rest of the game. Ok...so he got hurt...I can understand that. Third game of the year the same thing happens. Second quarter and he's out of there. Now the fourth game of the year he's out completely. Week 5, now he's still questionable. OUCH!! My fantasy football team is hurting bad!

My question is Will Clinton Portis give us a good reason to pick him up next year? Will he actually make us feel good for drafting him first pick? 4 weeks on a bruised chest seems pretty damn long from where I'm standing. What do you all think?

I'm in the exact same boat. Got Portis first in the draft in position 3, and I'm dying without him. Unfortunately, I have Fragile Fred as my other RB. Any early predictions on when we might see a healthy Portis go a full four quarters? Is KC too early?

I m a complete MORON!!! I was so blind as to miss the fact that portis had 14 yards in the first quater alone in the game he was injured again. I have nothing more to say and dont need to because u know look like a fool after i made one statement. I also a retard.

I too am pissed at Portis. I got him with the 5th overall pick, which would have been a bargain, but he's definitely dissappointed me. I think if he has to sit out another week, then we all should be pissed. I mean, he would then be a real pansy. If he wouldn't have came back that Raiders game, we'd probably all be happy. Then only 2 games of ours would have suffered and we could all live with that. But because he apparently doesn't know himself well enough, we have to go maybe four weeks without him (possibly more). If your a wuss you should know it and just take the time to heal in the first place! Stupid Portis.

I would hold on to Clinton Portis. It's hard to get any RBs in fantasy this late into the season. He will produce.

I think Portis just have ti play with pain, something that he hasn't learned yet.

I bet if you trade for him, you might get a good QB for him...but I wouldn't recommend dealing him because he might be ready to go this Sunday.
