Nice Unbiased Review ESPN vs Madden

This should be up here! Gamespot has a really good indepth review of the NFL games this year, they have a Madden fan and a ESPN fan comparing both games together. So I've heard i don't like anygame site really too many ads lol but yeah Someone posted this up at another forum I go to and It looks legit to me I mean you can tell that they have played both games.

I played both and I'm with most of the reviewers. Madden is pretty good but not nearly as good as ESPN NFL 2K5.

Madden has vaccum blocking (Game killer). You don't have a way to break tackles realistically other than spins, jukes and stiff arms. The Passing, Catching, Running and Tackling animations are way more realistic in ESPN. That hit stick makes Madden more like NFL Blitz. The presentation in Madden is nowhere as good as ESPN's. Its just like watching a Sunday Night Football game. You'll know what I'm talking about if you played the franchise mode in ESPN W/ Weekly prep where you can have your players watch film rehab hurt players and everything. Chris berman doing sportscenter w/ Trey Wingo doing injuries and trades and Mel Kiper Jr. giving his insight on up and coming draft picks which BTW have faces and not those silhouettes other games have. The halftime shows w/ Chris Berman and actual replays of important plays in your game (Xbox version). Custom stadium music which Madden doesn't have (Xbox version). Theres nothing like playing your home games with your favorite music playing.

Madden you still pick defensive plays where your D-linemen stunts are still together with the coverage. I guess thats good for people with simple minds. Madden looks like crap compared to ESPN. All the shoulder pads in Madden look like turttle shells and the players look like they have ape arms. The default camera in Madden is to far from the action.

I could go on and on but Madden is only good at one thing and thats pulling the wool over peoples eyes. LOL I guess that would make Madden fans sheep huh lol.

Oh I almost forgot about the Commentary in Madden is MEGA crap.
