It's official, Madden '05 is horrible. I've hurd multiple die hard Madden fans say that compared to ESPN 2K5, Madden's graphics, and gameplay are horrible. Madden has got by way too long on the name, and it's finally got up with them.

I haven't seen it yet, but I'd be willing to bet that number of sales has zero to do with the quality of the game.
The "Madden" name along with the greatness of the previous editions would be enough to boost sales alone.
I did hear that the 2K version is better though.

Madden 2005 doesnt deserve to be $50.00! ESPN is way better but somethings on it is way junk! To bad there isnt a game with madden features with espn's gameplay and graphics!

The graphics, for espn on xbox are amazing. Sega made the right decision to sell it for 20, to get the word out. Dont expect the sales to be the same next year. However i would like to know what madden will do next year. Will we even have another year on these machines, or will the nextgeneration stuff come out?

Some of the best games of all time have sold poorly; take sales numbers with a grain of salt.
