RB's.

Mike Anderson is the favorite with his 90 break tackle and 85 speed, however you want to make him your starting fullback. He blocks better then Drougns. On short downs go into a Iform Big formation and have Drougns lead Anderson on the HB drive. An easy 3 yards.

Q is the best suited for the offense. You have to practice with him and be quick with the buttons. If you don't know how to run with him you are in for a rude awakening. His small size allows him to get through holes quickly and effiecntly, but if you run a different running route and accidently run into an O-Linemen, hold tringle, your going down. True Madden players that play w/ the Broncos will tell you he is the best back with his combination of speed, elusivness, and agility. Q is not so quick to fumble despite his size if you press tringle at the end of runs. Q also presents the gift of being able to catch the ball. He is a good 5th Wr.

Tatum reminds many of Portis. DO not over run w/ him. He will fumble more then Q and his awarness isnt that high for run blocking. His blazing speed is great for single back 4wrs. The defense is expecting pass and BOOM. Tatum explodes towards ROd Smiths Side (our best blocking WR) and he gains a quick 6 yards. Tatum is not a good reciever, nor is he a good run blocker. Use him to give Q rests, he is a great option but don't bet all your money on him.

G.Hearst is a good back for short yardage. However I inssist you give that Job to MA and only use Hearst if MA is tired from FB and cant run RB, or if you want a reliable pass blocker. He is a great blocker.

MA - in need of short yardage recomended only

WR's

Ashly Lelie is the #1 option. HIs speed is greater then Rod's, his agility is as well. His catch is only 4pts less then Rod's. We us Lelie as the"Big PLay receiver" and use Rod against 2nd string corners as a position receiver as not working against the # 1 corner will work to his advantage. He consumes the shorter routes, and is strong enough to break past smaller corners.
Watts is the steady 3rd. HE has good speed and is great in the slot. HE doesnt catch well in traffic so try to pass it to him during certain routes that require alot of movement so his speed can give him an advantage over the nickle back. Ex. an in post that cuts to the out side a few yards later. Lead the pass away from saftey help and hes running up the sideline. Q is agreat option at 5th receiver.

FB

Mike Anderson is your FB. Drougn is right behind him if you need MA at RB.

TE

Bryon Chamberlin and Jed Weaver have the same catch average. Chamberlin should start. He is faster and appears bigger. Santiago is a great blocker on goaline, and look for him on the goal line fake. Advice: Use double TE formations and explore both weaver and Byron. If you share the ball your opponent wont know which TE your throwing to. Don't use Carswell. HE doesnt play the posistion anymore. If your true youll use what youve got.

Byron Chamberlin
Jed Weaver
Santiago

If you want a defensive one..tell me.

I let lelie stay at second WR till smith retired, Smith was very reliable. Oh, and weaver played a lot better for me than chamberlain. I traded away Hearst for a 3rd round pick which i used to draft a C whose overall is 75, so I traded nalen and a second round pick for a first round pick and started that new centre because rookies stats go up quickly, it was a great move.

Well I start Bell over Griffin for the speed factor but I must say griffin has the better hands. I seem to break alot of big game with off tackle plays with bell he's pretty nifty. I play on the default roster for the simple fact that I can go anywhere and play for money without any kinds of setbacks. I'm using the cleveland browns playbook on offense. This thing is amazing its got the I-form Big, Strong I Big and singleback 3 TE set all good for running and multiple shotgun formations: shotgun, shottie 5 wide bunch, shottie 2 RB 3 WR and shottie 4 wide. Aside from that the shottie sets the singleback sets take up a large portion of the playbook: singleback normal, singleback slot strong, singleback twin te wr, singleback big, singleback 3 TE.

On defense I'm a big 3-4 fan so I'm running the 3-4 with sykes manning the middle with wilson him being 6'3 is nice and he makes alot of big plays. Seeing that the broncos DB's still are kind of supar I tend to stay in the 3-4 or nickel 3-3-5 to bring the heat to my opponents and the quarters 3 deep is nice for stopping heavy passing assaults.

The easyest thing to do is use Griffin as your 3rd down HB. He'll be in when you when you pass to the HB the most and on the short yardage situations when you run up the middle were Bell's carrying is a problem.Bell will be playing when your more likely to try to run a play were his speed is the most valuable factor. If you only wan't to use1 back, go with Bell because he will improve faster since the game gives rookies way more upside. P.S. Real Madden players use their own playbooks.(If your to lazy to make it from scratch you can pick plays from other playbooks wich is helpful because you can't create trick or PA plays and some time the players don't block the people you intended.)

BS. I can't use the create-a-playbook option anymore because I can create a playbook that will break down any defense. It gets too easy when you can just create plays that are automatic for 60+ yards. I suppose that might not make me a "real" madden player, but if not being a "real" madden player means that I actually enjoy playing a relatively fair game of football as opposed to a 83-0 blowout, then fawk being a "real" madden player.

Try it on all-madden.This does bring up a point however, the passing in madden is to easy. The problem is in video games when they make you or your players worse and more unlucky, rather than the opposition better. It's cheap that the coverage is the same and it's just as easy to juke a player, but you lose every fumble and drop half the passes.

I use Carswell as my blocking TE even though he's now a tackle, but his rating as a TE is an 83 which is higher than Weaver, Chamberlain, Santiago or Hape. I mainly use him in the I formation and the 3-wide formations and it works wonders for your run game as long as you don't keep running to his side all game. Also, I do the package swap where you can switch your TEs to different sides and it throws the opposing D off a bit and keeps your ground game fresh.

I use Q and Bell on the field at the same time, but I never let one lead block for the other. I use them both on plays where one runs a screen, and then I hot route the other on an out to the opposite side, or I just put one in motion so they line up at a WR spot. The D won't know what hit them.

I used Q and Bell to great success against my friend who is a BEAST with the Chiefs, and I ate him up for nearly 500 yards passing, with Q and Bell racking up close to 170 yds apiece.
