John Lynch is not a fast safey in real life, so why should he be in the game?

what he lacks in speed, he makes up for everywhere else. he wouldn't have been in the right position to make that pick if he didn't have such high awareness and so forth so on. besides, that's what you use champ for, running them back...

Lynch is ADEQUATELY fast for a SS, but he's by no means a burner. What is his speed on Madden, a 81-83? I can't remember but I know Kenoy is rated better in speed than he is. I actually subbed Kenoy in on the nickel, dime, and quarter packages and I use Lynch primarily in the 4-3 defense and the 3-4 when I run it. I subbed in Lynch over Samn Brandon in the quarter as well, but Lynch's speed is a liability in that package against faster wideouts.

Why not use Kennedy at FS (remember he was only moved to SS last year and is now back at FS).

Isn't Nick Ferguson still the starting FS? Or has Kenoy taken his spot over?

Because Sean Taylor is manning that position. Also has anybody else noticed that players attributes go up ridiculously fast, right now on my game Q is 82 and he never even plays, Kennoy is 91 and he just got moved to starting SS, Tatum is 92 after 1 year, my o-line is like 98, 91, 98, 99, 87 and it's Broncos o-line, sykes is an 85, DJ 91, Al 97, LeSeuer 86, same with Willie

All that after one year?
Seems like Madden has some progression troubles too (ESPN has some funky, highly realistic, and then at the same time extremely unrealistic attribute-progressions).

The madden attribute thing occures too often during the season like Tatum Bell's awareness increased by 5-10 every time so by the end of the year it was 99. Jeremy LeSeuer's is the most unrealistic though now he is 87 overall and he wants 5 mill per season and he hasn't even been to a probowl yet and he's my nickleback, same with Willie

I cut LeSeuer a while ago. I am in year three and Q is a 91 overall. Tatum is 74 still, Willie is a 84 and i never hear anything from him. Kenoy is a 94 and Lynch's stats are dropping, he is a 89 now, old age will do that i suppose. I traded Nalen before he could retire on me and drafted a C in the third round who is 79 after his first season. Sykes is a 88 and Williams a 91, Wilson is 98 and Pryce 97. Hayward is 92, walls 95 (went to probowl last year) and champ is, of course, 99. I am going to need to look at TE, OT/G, SS and FB this draft. Anderson is getting old (he is 94 by and by). I had a great draft this year, I traded up and got a DT predicted to go in the top 10 picks at the 14th spot. Then another first round DT dropped to the second round where i grabbed him. Which is nice, I was able to trade away Elliss and Eaton (from FA) for some middling draft picks and free up some much needed cap room.
