I think the fact that you have to subscribe to a pay service to listen to the KOA broadcast REALLY REALLY SUCKS! What a great way to ALIENATE YOUR FANS! You greedy scumbags!

If you are having issue with this, you can contact the RIAA, the NAB, and the FCC.
Due to the fact that radio stations must by the same residual fees to ASCAP, BMI and the Actor's union (who's name I can't remember) for an internet boradcast as they do for a traditional broadcast, they are left with no choice but to charge. This is because internet broadcasts get less then 3% the listenership of a traditional broadcast. Therefore, the station cannot charge as much for advertising, therefore it is not as cost effective to broadcast the game over the internet as it is over the air.
The law that keeps this in effect is dumb, and should be repealed. I am all for copyright protection, and paying artists and actors a "per play " royalty fee for music and commercials, but the fees should have a separate scale for the internet.
So, either KOA loses money on the internet broadcast, or they charge a fee to subsidize the costs. Since we live in a capitalist society, KOA decided to try and break even or make a profit rather than lose money. I am sorry that this is upsetting to you.
