So denever is my defense, and them havnig a bye this week leaves me in the prediciment of who to start. Im looking really hard at the match ups and what D scores alot of points, obviously. So heres my inital picks and match ups.
Tampa @ *Atlanta*- Atlanta has 141.32 points so far this season and there playing Tampa at home.
*Pittsburg* @ Cleveland- Pittsburg has 152.52 points this season and Clevelands offense can be hit or miss.
*N.Y. Giants* @ Arizona- The Giants have been playing really well this year on D, and there playing Arizona, which could really go either way, who knows with the Cardinals.
Cinci @ *Washington*- This would be my last alternative, Washingtons D is actually pretty good, but its tough to see them completly shutting down CJ and co.
So, theres my 4 picks, the teams in asterisks are the ones I would use in case you have cerebal palsy and couldnt figure that out for yourself.
Help me out, who do I pick up?
PS- I need to make some roster room, who do I drop, Jamal Lewis or Droughns?

Go with Pittsburg, at least in my opinion. Atlanta might be a good choice too.
Are there any other options on who to drop? Those two are pretty good RB's to have on your roster...
I would go with Pittsburgh, too. They've just manhandled two of the most productive offenses in the NFL and they are hot. I know that they are not at home this week, they could be due for a letdown and that Browns usually play well at home, but, as you pointed out, the Cleve offense can be spotty.
I would NOT go with the NYG defense this week! They just lost both of their starting DEs and have a good replacement for only one. While they should play better this week, coming off the loss to Chi, they are on the road and could be vulnerable to either the run or pass as a result of the injuries that they have had. While the Arizona passing game hasn't been very good, coming back to get the win against Miami on the road should be a big confidence booster for J.McCown. The Cards have the weapons at RB and WR to be a decent offense, if McCown starts to play better.
I'm not as high on Atlanta vs Tampa Bay as some others will probably be, even though they are at home, because B.Griese has done a very good job of taking care of the ball this season. In fact, J.Gruden cited that as the primary reason that he was going to keep B.Griese as his starter for the rest of this season. Now that they have a couple of decent WRs that are healthy and with Pittman running well behind an O-line that has also been getting healthier and better, the Bucs are no longer the sad-sack offense that they were at the beginning of the season. Atlanta may hold them down, but I'm not sure that they can completely stifle them.
I actually like Washington's D at home against Cincy a shade more than Atlanta because I can see DC "Triple G" Williams getting his D to shut down Rudi Johnson, forcing C.Palmer to win the game on the road. CJ is as good as they come--hey, if he could burn Champ like he did, he certainly has the ability to do the same against F.Smoot and S.Springs. But, the question is whether C.Palmer will be able to get him the ball consistently. CJ is already unhappy with Palmer and this game is going to be on the road, in front of a hostile crowd, against a defense that will blitz the hell out of Palmer and the running game. CJ may be able to burn the blitz for a score or two, but I don't think that Palmer will hold up well enough to prevent the Washington D from holding the score down and possibly generating some turnovers.
However, I still think that the Pittsburgh D would probably be your best bet--they have been playing outstanding defensive football, which has made B.Roethlisberger's life a whole lot easier and allowed him to really shine. The media may be going gaa-gaa over Big Ben, but a big part of the story of their wins the last two weeks has been their ferocious defense.
But, of course, that's just my opinion. Others are likely to differ. Still, I hope it helps. Good Luck!

The Steelers will get lit up this week. And I'm not a Browns fan, but Pittsburgh has won two huge games and is destined for a let down this week on the road. You can bet that Cleveland will be up for this one.
I'd go with the Washington D. They've been very good and consistent all season despite their injuries. Remember, the Bengals are on the ROAD, which means they will suck this week. They're a completely different team on the road.
And drop Droughns. He's good, but he's no Jamal Lewis.

Excellent points, I'll flip a coin and see if I take Washington or Pitts. I like washington a bit more because there at home against like someone said a craptastical road team.
And I decided to drop Droughns and I picked up Chris Brown to fill the void this week.
Thanks for the input fellas.
