Yeah, It would be cool if Elway did come back. But it's not going to happen.

I'll never forget John Elway's speech at a retirement broadcast, his knee/s were bothering him for a long time:( And I had just had 2 knee operations myself)......and then Terrell:(

Ouch!!

The commentators were in the ravens game were on about rumoured talks between the Broncos and Elway to see if he would play until Plummer was at 100% recovery

I say he should take a cue from his own crush commercial & suit up for the AFL team of his...They had a lot of problems at the QB position (because they didn't play Bobby Pesavento...IMHO) last season & think of how far the ratings would go through the roof if he were to suit up...

Hey BG, What's up?

Well the season is over, too late for even Elway to make a comeback for us. Oh well, maybe next year.

I did not know Elway owned and AFL team?

Not too much 4th...long time...

Yeh, he does...They started up last year..The Colorado Crush.
I have a link to his commercial with Bon Jovi (who also started up a new AFL team this year--Philadelphia Soul) promoting the AFL...it's a pretty cool commercial, I gotta find it though.

Pretty funny, but that is the only action I want to see Elway in, He did his thing, he won the rings and is going to the HOF... rode out in a blaze of glory... best to leave it that way.

Hmmm so you think it'd be a bad thing if he came back as an AFL player or atleast a position coach?

While I was reading I got a very disturbing thought. I was thinking of the thread and its about him coming back and everything. And I though to myself what would happen if he came back and played for the Raiders, what would that do to all of us? Personally I would be pissed and at the same time sad. I know it will never happen but I was just thinking about it LOL.

hey question- if Elway did come back(he isn't but just go with me here..), would that make him ineligible for the HoF this year, since he would still be a player?
