jazzchamp
10-29-2003, 07:39 PM
Well, since all the good Broncos aliases were taken, I figured I'd use an alias from my other favorite pro team (man do we have low expectations this year), and have been using it since the twentieth century ;)
Elway

Hmmm... good question... never really stopped to think about it.

10-29-2003, 09:54 PM
Well you probably all know mine. My name is Danny, so I got the name dandaman from that then my favorite number is 23 so ya. I thought about making one that was related to the Broncos but I tried like 2 of them and it said that they were taken so I just went with dandaman23.

I'll buy him/her a beer...Oh yeah it's gonna be a foreign beer from the master beer makers in the world, from a country with more than a 1000 beers.
Hoolah
10-30-2003, 07:14 AM
Well mines kind of irrelevant to the Broncos.
My house looks like a hut, so I named it the Hoolah hut, the hut is mine (despite my husbands claims), therefore it is Hoolah's hut, I, therefore am Hoolah...
Not very exciting really, probably makes me sound hawaiian and beach like, which is the exact opposite of the truth as I'm a pasty English bird.

Pay attention, I always change that up every now and then. My last one was "free agent Prize #20 Lava"

I live in Massachusetts. Thats why the BRONCOS HAVE TO BEAT THE PATS MONDAY NIGHT. I wear my Bronco gear proudly and will even if they lose, but I have heard enough crap this week about how the Pats are going to kill us I just pray I can rub it in some peoples faces.

There have been rumors circulating about him coming back to play one more year with his brother (WR - who will come out of retirment) in Hamilton..... I don't think he likes riding the pine behind Brees.

I believe it, he sure looked agitated/frustrated/ready to get out on the field, etc. on MNF. To be honest, I had pretty much forgotten about him until they showed him on the sidelines.

Getting back to the thread...
I picked my name because the Broncos are my hobby and some would say my passion. Even when I have moved out of Colorado I still took my Bronco collection and wore my Bronco Jerseys. In Illinois and Kansas City they took exceptioin to that but I wore them anyway.
I will be Bronco fan until I die. To me that is 4 ever.

10-30-2003, 04:10 PM
Well to get back on the original topic. I think mine speaks for itself with my little Avatar to help out. I go to Boise State University and we're the Broncos (We are going to STOMP BYU tonight on ESPN by the way) and so...I really am a Bronco.
We beat San Jose State 77-14 last Saturday...

Ozzy, shouldn't your posts be incoherent mumblings then? Or maybe you prefer the in studio / on stage version...
Sorry about the earlier deviation from the thread. Mine is a combination of what Wyatt Earp is called during one of the scenes at the Oriental in "Tombstone" and the fact that I am in law school.

Well just in case some of you dont know, I used to be a regular in the old broncos chat room. My name(s) back then were Lava Flow, Blue Lava, Lava Lamp, Liquid Fire, and Fire Splash. Unfortunately, i had to do a lot of moving and didnt have the internet for about a year. when i finally got it back I said i will make a spectacular return. I changed my name to this only to find out there are totally different people in the message board than there are in the chat room. I kinda like it though.

Well, it is relative to the Broncos in that the next year, the Broncos went to the Super Bowl for the first time ever. Yes, the Raiders won the year before, so I waited till the next day to come out!! And BAM!! Broncos to the Superbowl!! So I like to say that I was born the first day of the first season the Broncos went to the SB! Is that too much of a stretch? hehe.

Yes and no. Of course I was rooting for them and was upset that they lost, but going into the Series, I had a bad feeling. The Yanks "blew their load" in the Boston series and the atmosphere around here was very complacent after that. It was like the Yanks had already won the World Series and that the Marlins series was like a "Pro-Bowl" and was meaningless.

A little late but-
Moose has been my nick name on most of my hockey teams (6'4 solid 230) soccer and football too.(hell even in some of the bands I've been in)
The gr8 came about as kind of a joke one day and I just kept it-
a friend- "This is Matt, his nick name is Moose too..."
me- " Yeah, but I am the Great Moose."
something like that (like in 92-93), would use other nicknames but that one has stuck the longest

It was tough to accept the new jerseys. I miss the Qrange!! Big Time!!!
Sold out every year even before they won a preseason game!!!
Best fans ...covers the entire state, unlike the Ca teams and the NY teams...oh and the Florida teams.
KOA Radio and channel 4. We sandloted and then watched the Broncos play. If the Broncos played early we played late.
Kind of like Rod Smith said, " It still needs to be fun".

Well let me say this, I LOVE the Yankees, they only come second to the Broncs yet they mean just as much, if ya know what I am saying. I lived in CT my whole life and you will grow up either a NY or Bos fan, obvioulsy despising the other. I am a Broncs fan cause my ex is such a huge fan so much that whoever meets him ends up rooting for the Broncs just because he is such a big fan. And being together for over 8 yrs and knowing him for 13 it was hard not to love them. Now I just love them for me :D

Here are the stories behind my allegiances:
Yankees: I live within a stone's throw of Yankee Stadium. My dad took me to my first Yankee game when I was 4 and I was hooked. As a kid, my mom wouldn't let me stay up to watch the games, so my dad went out and got me a small AM radio that he put next to my bed so I could listen to them as I went to sleep. Mom wasn't happy about it, but she chose to look the other way. Thanks, Mom.
Broncos: My dad actually was the reason I started rooting for the Broncos as well. In the early to mid 70's, my dad (I thought) was a Steelers fan. He had the hat, T-shirts, etc and wore them all the time. The first game I watched with him was the Cowboys/Broncos Super Bowl in Jan '78. As we sat down to watch the game, he had a Cowboys hat on. I asked him why he was wearing that since he was a "Steeler Fan". He told me that he didn't like the Steelers anymore and now he was a Cowboys fan because they were gonna win the Super Bowl. Even at the tender age of 9, that ticked me off. I said to him, "Oh, yeah, well the Orange Team is gonna beat the Cowboys. They're my favorite team. At the time, I didn't know Craig Morton from Morton's salt, but since that day I have been a fan of the Orange Team.

I am from Belgium and some of us here speak flemish (next to french, which is spoken in another part of Belgium).
My nickname means "often drunk" and is used on the Broncos message board because off course I am a Broncos fan (basically you have to ask this question: is there an other team?) and I also use it in Belgium on Anderlecht message board which is my favourite soccer team...
I am probably the only Belgian that sits at his pc and listens to KOA online to follow the Broncos game...

Well...before the real world took over my life, I used to be all about craziness. Since I'm asian, I thought I throw that in. I am an American though...I was born here. My parents think I'm a possessed caucasion guy on the phone because I have no accent but I can speak my inherited language.
My friends call me Crasian. I was going to make that my screenname but then for some wild reason...I decided to go all out with CrazyAsian just because I didn't want to explain what "Crasian" is.
That and Lame-O-Asian and AsleepAtWork didn't have the right ring to it.
I'm glad the webmaster let me have this name because I don't think it's anything offensive.

My dog's name was rascal so that is what I use. I would take him out hunting and he was a damn good bird dog too. He couldn't swim worth a lick but he always tried. One time he started swimming back after getting a duck but he "sank" about 50 feet from the shoreline. I immediately became concerned and started running for the bank. Then he appeared just walking out of the water instead of swimming. Dumb dog.

I am Nick Tran, and I Own.
I use this, Tran, ntran11 (class of 2011), and NTO sometimes.
If I feel up to it, I change my name to Spartacus in game and fool around.
I AM SPARTACUS!

I'm a huge Nascar and Mark Martin fan and use roushmartin6 for every board i'm a part of. "roush" being the team he drove for until recently, "martin" being his last name, and "6" being his car number he made famous although Culter is going to do great things with the #6 this year:D
TheRealMoose

When I signed up on a different board, I wanted to just use "TheMoose," but it was already taken. "Moose" was my nickname in college, playing football for the University of Montana... anyway, "TheRealMoose" was available, and that's who I've been ever since.

Back when the internet was in it's infancy, and relatively few people had home computers, I used to use Broncos7 when I was on IRC.
In fact, it was my hotmail email for a long time, until my computer crashed and it took me about a year to get back online. By that time, hotmail had closed my account and couldn't give it back because another user had snatched the name up. Anyway, I sat there trying to think of a new cool Broncos related email, and nothing was available. Out of frustration I used a name from my past.
Years ago I used to play a game where you had to make up characters. My character specialized in operating vehicles. His street name was Jetrazor. I typed it in and I've been using it ever since.
And I was born in 1974. bored yet? :D
I am president and founding father of the denver broncos fans union local #7

32-33Champs

Paying tribute to our two Super Bowl titles: 32 & 33 Champs.
Now those were the days. And to think, mine could've read 31-32-33Champs had we not choked one away against the Jags or even 32-33-34Champs had Elway played just one more year. I know his body was telling him it was time, but after watching Super Bowl XXXII & XXXIII, I know he had another year left in him.:salute:
