William Green was busted for pot and DWI. I imagine the impending rumor will be that Dlck Vermeil got him drunk so he wouldnt be playing against us.
Maybe the ref's that were paid off on Dante's runback, got him drunk as well?
Any other possibilities?
There's a reason why we're 8-0. It's called talent. I'm not denying we havent been lucky as well, but its the talent that got us in a position to be lucky.

What is the actual truth ?
I think a more interesting statistic; rather than measuring the quality of 'our' opponents with their current cumulative records (after we've beaten the crap out of them and softened them up for everyone else they play following their a$$ beating from KC) - what were their records prior to their receiving their cans of whoopa$$ from us ?
1st game of the season - San Diego was 0-0 and was thought to be competitive by most publications, but they hadn't been executed by the Chiefs yet, who clobbered them:
(which started them on their tailspin).
2nd game - Pittsburg who'd beaten Baltimore and was in first place in their division @ 1 - 0 and thought to be THE bada$$ team to beat in that division. But that was before we blew them up:
(and sent them into their tailspin).
3rd game Houston 1 - 1 Beat Miami, lost to Nawlins (who knew what THEY were besides a 2nd year team. Coulda surprised an unprepared team, but KC steamrolled 'em as they should have. Have they even won another game, since ? Who cares, as long as their locker room is cleaned out in time for KC to use it in February.
4th game Baltimore, by this time, the BullyBoy-Ravens were #1 in their division again with a 2 - 1 record and were thought to be the favorite to win the AFC North (this div. changes leaders a lot). They bragged about how they were gonna kick some Chief a$$ all week long...But that was before we OWNED them in their house and pi$$ed 'em off enough to blow out the next AFC West team they would face...the growing-ever-more-pitiful Broncos.
5th game Denver 4 - 0 and tied for the #1 spot in the AFC West. But that's before they ran into Dantes Inferno and the AverageD of KC. Jake 'schooled' our secondary for 221 yrds passing but - KC's D busted up Jake Plumber like a stale pretzel (sidelining him for at least five weeks) and sent the Broncos:
(on their current tailspin from which they have yet to recover).
6th game Green Bay who was 2nd in their division, and 3-2 and we played them @ Lambeau (where visiting teams RARELY win)...We punched 'em in their mouths with 17 unanswered fourth quarter points to send it to overtime, where a 51 yd Green to Fast Eddie bomb won the game. Kansas City remains the only team that Favre has played in the NFL and not beaten. ( I bet he beats Denver @ Lambeau the last regular season game of this year - any takers? )
7th game - the always dangerous 2-4 Raiders @ the Black Hole on the night of the week, the Raiders seem to own. Reigning AFC champs, long in the tooth perhaps, but not until we rocked Rich Gannon out of the game before halftime and sent them into their bye week thinking about how to avoid their impending QB controversy. We withstand both a sharp backup QB with little to lose and everything to gain as well as the GAWDD*MNED PREVENT defensive alignments and lose the 2nd half but win the game on the strength of our first half's performance. Tuiasosopo tossed for 224 yds in two quarters against the AverageD of Kansas City (3 yds more than Plumber in four full quarters of play against the same defense). So I guess Tui is better than Jake by twice as much ? (using BroncoStuds logic)
I smell a tailspin in the making...in Oakland.
8th game - The 4-3 Bills visited Arrowhead. At one time they led their division, but were tied for 2nd coming into last Sunday evening. They were drawn, quartered and measured and found to be lacking enough horsepower to keep from being embarrassed on National Television (espn). We probably sent them into THEIR OWN tailspin. Everyone also knows KC rocked Bledsoe out of the game. He left, looking as be-fckn-wildered as Brees, Maddox, Karr, Boller, Plumber and Gannon had - in weeks prior.
Can you spell....t a i l s p i n ? heheheh
So...what do we have...
Five* teams who we've sent into tailspins...SD, Pitt, Denver, & probably *Oak & *Buffalo: which would also correlate into pitiful cumulative records AFTER WE'VE BEATEN THEM AND SOFTENED THEM UP for future opponents.
3 quarterbacks we've knocked out of either OUR games with them, or future games for our opponents: Plumber, Gannon, Bledsoe (and Maddox hasn't looked all that groovy since our AverageD thrashed him like a ragdoll in week 2 - either).
What were their combined records BEFORE we beat 'em up ?
17 and 11. Looks like we've pretty much played some damned good quality teams (before we beat the crap outta them that is; either physically or points-wise and sometimes BOTH ways).
Why judge KC 'poorly' based upon the carnage the Chiefs have wrecked upon other teams (after we've ground them up - instead of before they faced our AverageD and our 'just okay' offense)? This is the real way to judge a football teams 'effectiveness'... Using that 'cumulative' records crap is that - just crap. There's a reason why our opponents have such crappy records AFTER WE'VE DRILLED 'EM...WE CAUSED THEM TO REMAIN IN TAILSPINS, fer gawd's sakes. Missing key players, etc....We should be placed upon pedestals and adorned !!! LOL
