Bowling!

Man, me and my best friend just got back from bowling. We bowled for 3 hours and 5 minutes. We each bowled 8 games. It was a blast! That was my birthday party.

But, do any of you guys bowl? And if you do, what was your best score?

Hubby and I used to Bowl in leagues :D , until they closed the Bowling alley :sad: :(

I bowl on occassion, my best score was like 197 -- but usually I'm around 150.

Wow, some high scores, my highest last night was 107, I just couldnt get my spin on it, but on most nights, I get like a 170.

My highest was around 210 when i bowled every saturday now i suck :ugh: lol

Its very difficult to get a proper spin on alley balls. The chances of finding one thats the correct weight and size for your fingers is really remote, and usually they are rather cheaply made. Also the way the lane is oiled has a big influence on how well you can turn the ball, again most alleys are too slick to get huge amounts of spin on anything but a personal ball. It is possible, but i find it best just to aim as straight as possible for the 1-3 pocket or 1-2 depending on which hand you bowl with. :goofy:

my highest ever was 211, i never hit that or got over it again, usually i average around 135, i havnt bowled in about 5 or 6 years
