Who is your favorite talk-show host?

I liked Phil Donahue the best. Phil reminded me of a NYSE runner...his big tuft of white hair was always messed up, and he was always running up and down the aisles so that people could reply..

Oprah just doesn't cut it for me...Kinda reminds me of Barbara Streisand somehow...can't put my finger on it and I don't want to try...

Jerry Springer was a ratings whore...I'm still trying to figure out how in God's name he was ever the mayor of Cincinatti...

Jenny Jones was pretty cool...smut tv, lots of T & A...worthwhile content kept to a minimum...

Morton Downey Jr. was Jerry Springer before Jerry Springer was Jerry Springer..This is an old-school talk show...I used to really enjoy it...perhaps second place goes to Robert's daddy..

Geraldo Rivera always annoyed me...it is no wonder that someone would hit him in the face with a chair..hey that's what you get when you have the KKK and just about anyone else on the same panel...

Richard Bey I only saw a few times while vacationing in Virginia Beach...I wanted to represent the south somehow..

Montel Williamsused to be somewhat entertaining...now it's all about paternity tests...

Maury Povich was always OK...he kind of rode the fine line between smut TV and legitimate conversation...it's no wonder he is so happy all of the time...he's married to Connie Chung... ;)

Feel free to remind me of the many that I left out, I only had 9 options left after the "other"...I purposefully left out Sally Jesse Rafeal..(shudders)

Conan O'Brien :D

This guy is hilarious. His show comes on at like 12:35 at night so I never got to watch it until I got Tivo. He does the best impressions. My favorites are his Trekkie impression and his Donald Trump impression.

The weak point in that show sometimes comes from the writing. I really hate it when they do what they call "Real Products". You can tell that it is just edited magazine images, as opposed to "Headlines" on the Jay Leno show that are actually real.

I guess I should have included the words day-time in there somewhere...The guys at night are so much better...but we just had a thread on that not long ago...

Conan is pretty cool....I liked the episode where he had a rather obese gentleman dressed up like Jupiter spinning himself around in a circle saying "I'm Jupiter"
..then a bunch of screaming kids come running at him from all directions and start bouncing off from him, symbolizing meteors...

...the news headline of the day was that Jupiter was under an intense meteor shower... :D
